And IF EVER you guys were correct, no big deal because there's no Hell right? don't tell me you got your own representation of Hell that condems and punish all does person who died believing on God, if none, well that's a good news for me because I got nothing to loose IF EVER you guys were correct. If you'll tell me that I'm missing to do the most out of my life you're wrong so don't give me that, because I'm the happiest person alive on the day I receive Jesus as my Lord and personal Savior, there's a portion of my heart that only Jesus can satisfy, not even my wife, my family, my closest friend and money can filled up. I feel like I'm a new person. why not try Christianity,

I dont need Bible to know that there's a Creator, you can't say that "I dont believe in air because I cant see it" If you dont believe in air then don't breath. ofcorse you will say that you believe in air because you can feel it (there goes "to see is to believe") well dont you feel who created the mountains and the stars? I know your deal, You guys like does kids who wants to run away from home and dont want anyone to tell you what to do or not to do, If you let go of a child to live on his own without someone to guide him and will do what ever he wants, believe me he will grew up as a bad person, he cant be a good person automatically, because he will prove that drinking and hanging around with friends is more cooler and enjoyable than sitting on a piano lesson. If you saw a country without a law and you can do whatever you want freely, it is a chaotic country.

If its the Christian themselves that makes you hesitate on to Christianity you're right, because there's a Christians making mistakes and there's a correct one, there's a foul mouthed christians and then there's not. Christian's are only human, human commit mistakes, but believe me, the true God cannot.

"lifeafter"
saying - A little knowledge is dangerous, use it on the benefits of others.
not - to see is to believe, but believe first and then you will see.
have a good day

how about you are you really not worried to any god if ever they really exist?

Sorry, english is not my First language.

PS. dont mix true Christians with Catholics because they were far too different.

Thanks for all who answers.

Pascal's wager is nonsense. There are how many thousand religions to select from and it's a safe bet to pick Christianity why? Atheism isn't a choice. I've said it again and again.

The bible can't be correct because it's too full of contradictions. If Christianity is correct then I'll stand up for what I believe in and will go to hell for it.

If there is another form of hell then I trust that I won't be going because I am happy with the person I am. I don't cause any living being harm... I don't even kill cockroaches and will in fact help any anyone when I can. My intentions are pure and I have no need to feel guilt or shame about anything in my life. If I were christian I would constantly have to apologize for things I don't see could possibly be considered as wrong or a sin (like wearing 2 different types of materials in my clothing... whats that about??)

apparantly no amount of bible verses can teach you grammar. anyways pascal's wager as you describe has been a drinking game among us for quite some time now. Ya' Know if zeus is the true god you won't meet us in the elysian fields when you die. and aparantly it doesn't bother you that the special part in your life reserved for god is filled by a lie. 90% of atheists were former theists don't forget that, that goes for all of you christians.

I really do dislike when people write like they are only capable of thinking from the perspective that they are right and no one else. The same attitude is what tried to take over the land we call the U.S. and tried to get rid of the people who were already here because they were so certain that *they* were right...that old attitude is alive and well...

And btw...please try to write in a way that people can understand.

I don't worry about it at all.

You mention AIR, that you believe in it, even though you cannot see it... difference is, you can prove air. Air is made up of various gases like nitrogen, oxygen, carbon dioxide, argon etc... and they are indeed visible in the UV frequencies. This is how we can tell what the atmosphere of Venus is made up of, because of the light it filters.

Ever see fog or clouds? Ever see smoke? It's particles in the air proving that it exists. Same with the wind. Also the smell. I can also pump air into my tires. I have yet been able to pump god into anything... this can be somewhat frustrating when I have a flat and there's no service station close by. Being able to magically pump god into my tire would surely be a miracle.

Same goes for GRAVITY... we may not be able to see it, but we can certainly prove that it's there.

If there is a God, and he is anything like the Christian God, I want nothing to do with him.

If there is a God, and he is not like the Christian God, he will understand my decision to seek truth. He would not look upon Christianity with adoring eyes, that's for sure. He would understand my decision not to follow what seems to me an industry, and not an altruistic service at all.

Are you worried that Islam might be the correct religion and that Allah will be really mad when he finds out that you didn't believe in him?

If not, then why do you expect a non-Christian to be worried that the Bible is correct?

I'm just saying... that's pretty silly.

I do believe in "God" just not your version. No I'm not afraid of the idea of hell as I have no doubt it is meant to keep people like you from halting your donations. If there were a hell, and heaven was anything like Christian church, i'd prefer hell.

I would consider someone pathetic if their only reason for partaking in their religion was out of fear that they would get punished otherwise.

Obviously that's not the case with many Christians, however it seems that you are suggesting atheists should betray their own selves in order to be covered "just in case".

Do you really think G-d is dumb enough that he/she/it/they would believe someone had honest faith when they were really just after divine reward or afraid of divine retribution? I mean... really? Faith from fear isn't sincere. (Catchy, isn't it? I didn't even mean for that to happen.) Likewise for faith for reward.

It's a simple human dynamic. If people are afraid of you, they're going to pretend they like you so you don't beat up on them, even if they hate you. The same goes if they can get something from you. It's not genuine. Do you really think that counts?

Tried it.
Studied it for many years.
Understood what it says and what the facts actually are.
Educated myself in many other religions, searching for the "right" one. Opened my mind to other possibilities.
Settled on Eclectic Paganism.
Not a Christian at all anymore.
Thank you very much.
