risks.. infection, if nothing is sterile then hepatitis or other bloodborne pathogen problems.. it will more then likely be crooked.. it may not heal right... will probably hurt more as s/he has no idea what s/he is doing.

It is much, MUCH better and safer go to a professional. I regret doing my snakebites myself, and now have the scars to prove it..

Yes very dangerous. My friend went to a tatoo shop and had her lip done and it messed up. It didn't stop bleeding and the piercer had to rush her to the hospital. That was a professional shop and it shows accidents can happen.

Infection, of course. Not sterilized equipment. They could also do it wrong and it look all ugly.

Lots of things. It's totally worth the money to go get it professionally done to avoid all the risks you have.

circulate to a professional!!!! $10 could appear like lots and in keeping with possibility it became into fantastic to your buddy, yet you do not opt for to run the prospect of being the exception and finally end up with a bad an infection that could desire to land you in the ER. whilst it includes stuff like this, greater value-effective is not greater advantageous. shop around for deals. verify Yelp.

Your question itself has cleared your doubt. You said your friend is inexperienced and i'm very sure your smart enough not to get it done by your friend. Your friend may be your life but pls don't let him/her destroy your face! Good luck!!!

Severe, life threatening infections, major scarring, or death.

And in my opinion lip piercings are a total turn off.

It didn't hurt my friend...
just make sure you numb it with ice, and it shouldn't hurt at all.
Hope it goes well. (:
