Why do you reject Lucian's writings as proof of Jesus's existence?

Lucian (second century) Christ is "...the man who was crucified in Palestine," and who "persuaded [his followers] that they were all brothers," and that they should deny the Greek gods and worship him (On the Death of Pererine)

Because Lucian wasn't there and Christianity was already established. There were several people crucified in Palestine who had followers.
