Did I ever tell you about the Fishbone show I was moshing at, when the singer dove onto the crowd and cut my eyebrow with the mike? That's my closest brush with fame.

No, most of the people in the mosh pit are totally dedicated to the band. The Apostles pretty much failed Jesus at every turn. Peter was a total screw up. None of them could even sit up with Jesus the night before He was put to death.
In the end, almost of them died preaching His gospel, so I guess they came around.

Yum, they were Jesus's followers and students who carried on his teachings so if you can relate that to a mosh pit sure

First, umm Pamela, disciples and apostles are the same thing and interchangeable. Second, to answer the question, no they weren't. They were His followers and those who spread His word.
