i have a 1986 toyota celica and having blinker problems?

i have replaced all of the blinkers and lights and im still having a problem the right side only comes on in the back and is solid though and the left wont even come on at all any suggestions

one more thing is that i dont want ot get arid of it even though it is old because it is a gt edition

The reason the right one comes on steady is because the front one, for some reason, isn't in the circuit. With problems all the way around after changing the bulbs and the flasher unit, I'd look at the turn signal switch or the plug down the wiring harness from it. The turn signal switch and the flasher unit are the only two things common to all the lights. The harness from the switch comes out of the steering column to a plug. I'd start there and see if I could get a light at each corner with a 12V signal. If that works then the switch is probably bad.
