I'm Mormon and therefore Christian. My advice would be to call the Mormon Missionaries :) and have them teach you, because that is what I know to be true. BUT>>> because there are lots of people that join the Mormon faith and are disowned by their families I'll give you a more open minded answer. You must decide which is more imortant to you, your family or your religion. If your family and your religion can't co-exist, then you must choose which one you can't live without. Hope this Helps, its simple, but true. If you need to be Wiccan you would be willing to endure your families disapproval because you know, in your heart and mind that it is true.
WIth all that being said I just read up on Wiccan on Wikipeidia, I hope you think very hard on this, and make sure that everything is legal, the idea of secret initiation worries me. If it is the idea of nature that appeals to you, then have your own religious rituals, read the Bible, or poetry, sing songs, pray freestyle (meaning have a conversation with the God you chose), speak your thoughts, write in your journal, meditate, do yoga, do all this alone in a peaceful natural setting.

If you are still living at home I would probably wait till you can move out of your house. Telling them either way is going to be hard but it will cause more problems if you haven't moved out yet. But if your on your own then you could go ahead and do whatever you think is best for you. If you want to convert to Wiccan then go ahead.

Christianity has some basis in recorded history.
Much of that is written down in the Bible; study it.
Over a billion people, 1/4 of the world, follow it.
Wicca is at best superstition, at worst satanic.
It's based on paganism, which worships creation.
Christianity, Judaism, & Islam, all worship the Creator.

Hon, I think you should understand that we are (ALL OF US) on a spiritual journey of one kind or the other. Most folks go many different ways before they decide what is the right path for them.. It is important for YOU to find your OWN path. Your parents and Grandma have found their path.. This is strictly between you and whatever or whoever you choose.. HOWEVER, there will be consequences. But if you really believe that is the way, Then that is the way for YOU.. I wish you the best and hope you take it easy on Grandma. She loves you, and to her, it will be so painful to think of you, her precious baby, in Hell for eternity.. Even if YOU don`t believe it, She does..
Peace & God bless from Texas <><

Become athiest. Both of those religion/faiths sound ignorant.
And my friend always laughs at Wiccan for some reason.

It seems that your roots did not take in good soil, and you have not seen the temptation to turn from Christ as the temptation that it is. Why throw a life line away? Get to the bottom of Christianity and gain understanding, just as the Bible tells us to do. You will be glad you did.

Let me share something with you from personal experience- I was raised by a mom that took me to church however neither of us were really Christians until later in life. Going to church can become just something to do, with nothing behind it, until you come to the realization that Christ wants a personal relationship with you, so much that He gave His life for you. What draws you to Wiccan, just curious.

I'm guessing your under 18. If you truly want to become Wiccan, wait until you are 18 and/or out from under your parents' roof. Until then, you just have smile and nod by going to church.
