I don't know. For about a year I have been struggling with doubts that God is real or if he's not and all and it's been really hard. But I don't wanna go to hell. It's so weird, just I don't wanna go to hell but at the same time am struggling? I don't know, just it's almost like in my heart I know He's there and all but at the same time I'm doubting it. I really want to stop and just know God is there and get over this because I really wanna go to Heaven, but at the same time it's like I'm doubting the whole thing with all of these questions, help! Does this mean I'm going to hell? i really don't want to and i want to change but i need help please and i really don't wanna talk to other people about this. this is all soo hard to explain and i've seen stuff happen before that i'm like i know he's there but at other time i'm not sure, what's going on?

So doubting right now doesn't mean exactly that I'm going to hell? I'm really confused.

"Peace be still, and Know that I am God!"
Just stop trying to be a human "doing" and
be a human "being". Just Be!
Talk to Him, tell Him, how you feel and then
let it go.
No need to struggle, dont allow your impatience or the racket that's going on in your head, make you miss His voice.
Continue to be a good person and when you pray/talk to God
let Him know how you've been feeling.
I have often found out that when I surrender and stop trying so
hard to have it figured out "my" way, that God's ways are just
revealed to me.
No, you are not going to hell!
God is merciful, kind and understanding.
He already knows all about your fears and confusion, just anxiously awaiting for you to give them to Him.
Blessings to you.

I think it's about time you go and have a chat with a priest. I don't know if you're a Catholic but even if you are not, you don't get burned entering a cathedral. I suggest you talk this over to a priest. It would be even better if you visit him often so that you can tell him about these doubts of yours. Maybe he can help you. Also, try to find God in every little thing you do and every little thing you see around you. Though it's hard, living in the modern world with many things that could mislead us. Reflect on what had happened the year before you started acting like this. And I wish you the best. God bless.

I'm sorry, I'm not a Christian, but if you don't mind, I'd like to jump in here with a comment. I'm not going to tell you to believe or not believe; that's up to you, not me. But please don't believe that asking questions is somehow bad. It's not. If you believe in God, then you'd have to believe that he gave you your mind, right? Well, why wouldn't he want you to use it?

There's nothing wrong with asking questions. There's nothing wrong with doubting. Those are all healthy things that God, if he exists, should WANT you to do. You won't be going to hell if you ask questions; you're just doing what every good human being SHOULD do. It's nothing to feel ashamed about, so don't feel that way. Keep thinking about the subject and come to your own decision, but don't fall into this trap that thinking and doubting are bad, because they're not.

Gal 3:11
11 But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.

mark 16:16
16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

You have to pray for The Lord to help you understand that he is real and you want him to come into your heart and save you. Talk with him and create a relationship with him. I know that is hard, but you will understand in time. There are times when I am driving down the road and I just start talking to God about everything and anything, and I get the most amazing feeling and tears well up in my eyes. Open your heart to him and allow him to fill you up inside with his grace and gloriousness. I will pray for you right now that he will show the way!

God Bless!

First and foremost you shouldn't be worrying about hell but the love that can be gained and given to others from Jesus. You should be more concerned about the compassion that Jesus spoke of, this you could pass to children in need. You should desire mercy so you could show mercy to others. You truly need truth within. These are just a few of the attributes we are to get when we are Christians. Peace within comes from Jesus not a bottle or a pill. When you begin to acquire these doubts will flee.

Do you believe that God loved you so much that He gave His only begotten Son Jesus to die for your sins? Do you believe that Jesus was crucified for your sins? Do you believe that He died, was buried, and rose again on the third day? Do you believe that because of what He did on the cross that you can ask Him to forgive whatever you've done and He will? If your answers are yes, then His Word tells us that you have eternal life with Him and that you are NOT going to hell.

Our enemy, satan, will come to us with his lies, trying to get you to doubt. DON'T BELIEVE HIM! He tried to do everything possible since the Garden of Eden to keep Jesus from being born, and he tried to keep Him in the grave, but he couldn't. Satan cannot keep you from going to heaven, he lost that power over you and over all who believe in Jesus Christ. God bless you, and I will be praying that He gives you peace in your heart that you are indeed a child of the King!

Lovingly,
Virginia

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that he that believes in Him would not die and have everlasting life
Jesus is our example for true love He was a perfect man who didn"t have to die for us but because he loved his Father so much he showed this by dying for us so that imperfect people like us would also be able to have a chance to live on a perfect cleansed earth Remember in Genesis the earth was suppose to be cultivated into a garden paradise Adam and Eve disobeyed God by partaking of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and because of their disobedience man couldn't have chance to redeem themselves unless a perfect man died for their heirs hence Jesus took it upon himself to do that for us He is our example as to how we should conduct our lives He established the golden rule: Do unto others as you would them to do to you God loves us through his son therefore there is no burning in hell it doesn't make sense that God would do something like that to people Anyone that Jesus resurrected did not come back mentioning an afterlife because the dead are not conscious of nothing at all ecclesiastes9:5,10 Psalms146:4

I understand your doubts and I know it is difficult. The Adversary (most know him as Satan) will use all sorts of ways to bring you down. Commit certain Bible verses to memory and when you are feeling distraught quote them to yourself. When you feel like you are about to enter into sin, pray to God for guidance. God will not lead you into temptation and He will give you a way out.
If you have committed your life to Jesus Christ, Satan will do what he can to get you back into his arms and away from Jesus. Some of the most fierce attacks Satan will do is against new believers. I'm not sure where your walk is with God, but hand all of your problems over to Him.
When in doubt pray to God. When attacked, just say, "Get behind me Satan." Use the name of Jesus to counteract the attacks of Satan.

Mk 9:24 And straightway the Father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief. This shows that we are all of the flesh. That there is part of us that knows the truth, but there is still a part that is filled with fear. The Lord Jesus said that if we would have Faith the size of a mustard seed, that we could move mountains. The only way are faith grow is through trails and as the Lord carries us through them, our faith will grow. I could not imagine going through the valleys of life without my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I pray that something brought forth will help you. Love in Christ, Your Brother

First of all do not be afraid of (hell).
Hell is the common grave of all mankind and all go there, the good and the bad.
The churches have given the wrong meaning to the word (hell) to instill fear.
Hell or the grave is a place of rest, not torment.Read this in your Bible at Ecclesiastes 9;5-10
For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the remembrance of them has been forgotten. 6 Also, their love and their hate and their jealousy have already perished, and they have no portion anymore to time indefinite in anything that has to be done under the sun.

7 Go, eat your food with rejoicing and drink your wine with a good heart, because already the [true] God has found pleasure in your works. 8 On every occasion let your garments prove to be white, and let oil not be lacking upon your head. 9 See life with the wife whom you love all the days of your vain life that He has given you under the sun, all the days of your vanity, for that is your portion in life and in your hard work with which you are working hard under the sun. 10 All that your hand finds to do, do with your very power, for there is no work nor devising nor knowledge nor wisdom in She´ol, the place to which you are going.
Believe that God really exist for He gives you and all humanity life and Sun and rain and food and water,to sustain it.
But most of all becouse He gave His only begotten son Jesus Chrst to redeem us from sin and death.
Pray to God in Jesus name and ask Him to give you faith.
We all need more faith.
May God bless you in Jesus name and give you peace.
