We just moved into a new apartment complex. As I was unpacking my girlfriend decided to go to the clubhouse and check out the steam room we had heard about. I have never actually been in one before so I was not in the mood to try now, i was already sweaty.
She came back about 20mins later and told me that it was a coed common steam room, kind of small (could only fit 4-5 people) and when she walked in there was a naked guy sitting on a towel with a hand towel on his head. She said the didnt know what to do, stay or go? keep her bikini on or take it off? She said she ended up staying and keeping her bikini on. The other guy never said anything or even acknowleged her. He just switched from sitting to laying down on his back then left.
She wanted to know if that is normal?
And how other women might have reacted given the same situation?

ive never been to a coed steam room but in other steam rooms that seems normal. you can go in with a swimsuit or naked or with a towel and u can lie down, sit down, etc. and no one really acklowledges other people because everyones there just to relax. Overall thats all normal though and i would definitely do the same thing in that kind of situation

Sorry that happened..No, it is not usual for a apt complex steam room to allow this, to my knowledge. Talk to your management please..What if a teen walked in there? This is a public place, best of my knowlege it is wrong to be naked there. At best if you don't want to talk to management about it, you see this person in there, walk out.

For single-sex steamrooms, it is common to enter wearing a towel, then to sit either naked on the towel, or keep it wrapped around you (depending on your personal pref.). For co-ed steamrooms a bathing suit is usually required.

human beings should not be bare in "shared gender" factors; particularly in factors the place infants would desire to flow with a determine/parent. If it have been me, i does not stay in there on my own with a bare guy. sounds such as you're able to desire to be asking for hardship - ya never comprehend presently! provided that there became a sauna in each the adult adult males's replace area and one interior the females might i think of or not that's suitable to flow bare.

I think the guy that have towel around their head are kind of gay. It doesn't seem right. On top of that, they are suppose to cover their private part in steamroom.

I would have left. Unless you're in a specifically clothing-optional area, clothing is not optional. If clothing is specifically optional, then you can wear something or not, as you prefer.

That's absolutely fine... she's just more modest than most people! Don't think it's a problem....(I'm really modest too)!
