Nope. Parents were atheists.
I am an Evangelical, fundamental, blood-bought, born again (but not frothing-at-the-mouth) Christian.

my parents believe in a certain religioin. actually my whole family believes in it. but i dont like the idea of religion. i believe in God, and that every religion has truth in it. sort of like how all rivers lead to the sea... (the sea being god and the rivers being all the different religions leading to the same big mass of water).
no one's ever asked me this before.. i guess i dont hold the same religious believes as my parents. i see some truth in the religion but a lot of rituals and customs dont really mean anything.. people just blindly follow it. i dont want to follow blindly.. so i'de say no. i dont hold the same religious beliefs as my parents. (they'de freak out if they knew)..

Yes, but it's not a religion. I absolutely hate religion! Religion is from man! It is not from God. I call it faith with a relationship. What God is seeking from His creation is an intimate relationship! That's what distinguishes MY God from all the other gods.
I think this song pretty much sums up the way I am trying to convey my thoughts to you! :

No, I was raised in the church of christ. My parents still are in that church. I became Apostolic(oneness pentecostal) after I got grown. I always believed differently than them. But had to wait til I was grown to "do my own thing".
