For that matter, can any of them tell us why their beloved Prophet, Muhammed married Aisha when she was ONLY six years old? And that he didn't, you know, make it official, until she was like NINE?

Why would anyone follow someone who marries a six year old girl and has sex with her when she is nine?

We believe Jesus preached Monotheism, and we believe that every apostle from Adam right down to Mohamad preached monotheism and should be highly respected and loved. Islam is not 'Mohamad's religion', Islam is Monotheism and monotheism has existed eversince Adam was created.

Mohammad the Prophet of Islam was the last messenger of monotheism as we believe that God has sent down his final and complete revelations to Mohamad in the form of the Koran. And while doing so, God promised to Muhamad, that no human could ever change to try to 'improvise' the Koran the way they have done to the bible and old testament (the Quran was documented in a certain numerical manner than if one was to even change a word of it, mathematical inconsistencies would develop). The Koran today remains exactly the same as it was when it came down over a 1000 year ago, word for word.

So this is why we believe that the Koran is God's final revelation after the bible, and Mohamad was the last messenger, he was the deliverer of the last messages. Mohamad was also the only non-Hebrew Prophet (this is why he was not accepted by some Christians and Jews at the time), making Islam the first Monotheistic faith that crossed the boundaries of race and ethnic tribes.

Pitchy:: you're a retard, grow up. 1000+ years ago men were still killing baby girls and beating up and raping girls and women in the street. A girl would be lucky to have a protective husband to care for her, and he is only allowed to have intercourse with her AFTER puberty. Girls in the past were mostly married in their early to mid teens or younger, and the marriage is consumated after she gets her menses, otherwise it is illegal and a great sin in Islamic Law. Did you also know women in Islam have their rights to many things too? Keeping their family name, engaging in trade, keeping their own wealth and not having to share it with their husbands, and so much more. Check out the feminist muslims.

The Muslims believe that Islam is the religion of God. They believe that God chose Islam for mankind and Jinn and it was the religion of all the prophets starting with Adam all the way down to Muhammad(pbut). The Qur'an says something about God perfected and chose Islam for mankind and Jinn. The Muslims believe that Jesus(pbuh) is a prophet and the Messiah and because Jesus(pbuh) never said he was God or child of God because God wouldn't need human blood/human sacrifice to account for people's sins on Earth. So therefore Jesus is just another prophet since he never claimed to be God. Paul was the one who made Jesus(pbuh) out to be a God. The Catholic church recognized the prophethood of Jesus(pbuh) and then moved it up to "son of god" and then 100 years ago moved it all the way up to "god". But a man can't create any creations on Earth. Jesus(pbuh) performed a lot of miracles that many of the other prophets(pbut) performed.

It is part of Muslim faith to believe in all God sent Prophets that includes Jesus and the rest like; Moses, Solomon, Zachariah, Imran, David, Jacob, Abraham, Noah, Adam.

Just read the passage and it will enlighten you on the subject and Muslim faith please:

The Messenger believes in what was sent down to
him from his Lord,
and the believers; each one believes in God
and His Angels,
and in His Books and His Messengers; we
make no division
between any one of His Messengers. They say,
‘We hear, and obey.
Our Lord, grant us Thy forgiveness; unto Thee
is the homecoming.’

Last 10-verses of Chapter ‘The Cow’ (II)

To dear IDAC 123 –
it behoves us not to make additions or subtractions in our Holy Book, Koran.
Thank you for your thoughts please.

I'm not a Muslim, but I believe it is because Jesus was born of a virgin, and performed miracles for the benefit of humankind. This made him a prophet because he was endorsed by God.

Actually, in the Greek Orthodox Church, I believe Plato is a saint, but he predates Christianity. I think it is a way that these religions recognise figures of history that complement their beliefs.

we believe that all prophets from adam till mohammad were all messengers of Allah including jesus.

we believe that Allah sent the prophets with his messeges and the last massege was islam, the Quraan tells us about Jesus, moses, Abraham , Adam and all prophets which they considered to have obeyed allah.

we believe that when human beings started changing the bible Allah sent the prophet with the message of Islam and with the Quraan which is protected from Allah and no one changed it since it came.

someone said our prophet married a lady who was 6, thats not true, he was offered to marry her but he refused because she was young and after some years no one knows exactly how much he married her.

at that times ladies used to marry young even non- muslims ladies, i know now it seems weird but their time was different from our time, you know that arab ladies still get married around 14-16 now and before 20-30 years used to marry when they were 11. thats their culture and again i assure you that our beloved prophet didnt marry a lady who was 6

The real meaning of Islam is 'Submission to God'.
Jesus is one of the prophet of Islam as does Adam,Moses,Solomon etc as they all submit to God ( Muslim, meaning people who submit to God)

there is no connection between christianity and islam.....

islam just borrowed some traditions from christianity..

all prophets in the judeo-christian tradition have been jewish, not arabs.....

islam is a result of a completely different culture

They claim that everyone who 'submits' to God is a muslim. From Adam to Noah to Abraham to Mohammed.
