Friend...if I may offer to pray with you on this one, I would be more than happy to do so. Reading the Bible has always been a struggle for me. Am I reading this because I'm trying to impress others by how many verses I can quote, or will I remember, that I am reading about everything that has taken place to remind me of how important I am to God.
My prayer is you find peace in your heart in understanding we don't have "works" (ie read x amount of verses each day, making sure to memorize x number of verses each week) in order to earn His love.

I don't believe it's a sin if you're not reading the Bible everyday, after all, we're told to hide the Word in our hearts. However, if you're unable to find time on a regular basis then perhaps you should look at your day and re prioritize. Just do a systems check of your life and ask God to set your day for you. It may be a matter of getting up 15 minutes earlier just to get some of the Word into your day. Blessings.

You're probably sinning whether you read your Bible or not. That is, we all sin, and we all sin all the time. Reading your Bible may slow your sins down, but it does not stop them nor does not reading it result in sin.
There's no command to read the Bible every day. There are examples of David meditating on the law day and night, but that's about it. Remember that through a large percentage of human history, there's been no Bible for people not to read. Were those people all sinning when they didn't read the non-existent Bible?

Its not a sin but would be a Wise move to MAKE time to make your spirituality stronger in these Last days.
The Ephesian congregation also had a busy and hectic schedule but the Apostle Paul told them to "BUY out the oportune time for yourselves,(spiritual things) because the days are wicked.(Ephesians 5:16)
Remember Happy is the one whose delight is in the law of Jehovah, And in his law he reads in an undertone day and night. Psalms 1:2,3. And EVERYTHING he does will succeed. As a matter of fact as soon as I get off from here Im going to show that i Love him by doing this very same thing. Have a good day & may God bless you because Jesus loves us all......

Sweetheart that's between you and the good Lord - it is before him that you will stand or fall. God loves you dear. Jesus's blood covered all of your sins before you were a Christian, and it doesn't stop covering your sins after you're a Christian - you are forgiven!!
But still, a relationship with God is a two way street - we talk to him in prayer and he talks to us through his Word and the Holy Spirit. Don't neglect the bible forever, try to fit it in every day - at least a few minutes.

No, you are not sinning but then at the same time, you are not growing spiritually. The Word of God is our source of spiritual food, so if we do not read the bible, we do not get the sustenance we need to grow in the Lord. Imagine what will happen if you don't eat everyday - will you die if you miss a meal or two? No! but if you consistently skip your meals, after a long time, you will find yourself gettting weaker and weaker physically. The same is with not reading your bible everyday, miss it a day or two, it's effect is not that drastic but if you consistently miss out on reading the bible, over a longer period of time, you will find your faith and spirituality getting weaker and weaker.
Pray that you will be able to fit time to read the Bible and grow towards greater maturity in the Lord. Bless you!

No Hon, It is not a sin.. It is not good for you, But it isn`t a sin.. Don`t sweat it.. However, You need to be fed the word daily.. Keep a bible in the potty room, in your car, in the bedroom, the kitchen. God won`t care.. You can read a bit when you can.. It is OK.. He does understand.. He loves you and you are much beloved of God..
Peace & God bless from Texas. <><

one of my all time favorite sayings is:
"GOING TO CHURCH DOES NOT MAKE YOU A CHRISTIAN, ANY MORE THAN GOING TO A GARAGE MAKES YOU A MECHANIC"
I don't think it's a sin not to read the bible. In the old days not every one was fortunate to own a bible... so they had no way to read it every day. Surely god would not damn them to hell for that? I am guessing that if there is a god, he will judge you on how will you live your life. Not how many days in a row you read passages his little book.
