Yes. It is a constant struggle against the ignorance and laziness of idolatry, such as the false gods that are promoted by many people who call themselves Christians.

Royal racer...
I think there are "seasons" when we are involved in spiritual wrestling. This includes powers and principalities. The intercessors are most likely involved.
As to the church, redefine it. Who is to say that structured and denominational church is the church?
I would say there is as many believers that are not involved with the structure known as "big denominational church."
The church is alive and well in this sense... God is calling people to humility. Some pastors are responding by laying down there crowns. So many Pastors have been treated as idols and enjoyed the power way to much.
The new paradigm is living stones called by God. The requirement is humility. The leadership is that of the Holy Spirit, not politics, nor the obligation to fit in with modern culture.
The strategy is obedience to God, not a centralized plan from the central headquarters.
The first step and those after is called faith!

No, I do not believe that on a regular basis we wrestle with angels of the third lowest rank.
Hey, I had to check my dictionary and that's how "principality" is defined -- bottom of the barrel angels. ...it's either that, or the usual, "geographical area ruled by a prince." ...guess I must've learned a little something. Thank you.

Yes we do, in fact it is a constant battle. Satan which is our #1
enemy will not rest until we are out of the way. That is his main
occupation. The enemy does not want God's people to gain
what he has lost. So we who are God's people, must do what-
ever we have to do, to win the war. Not just for ourself, but for
those around us. We are to be the light that shines in a dark
place. As a child of God, and a minister of the gospel of
Jesus Christ, someone, somewhere is depending on me. I
know what it is like to be lost and undone. And from the time
that I repented of my sins, and baptized in the name of Jesus
Christ, for the remission of my sins and received the gift of the
Holy Ghost, with the evidence of speaking in other tongues,
as the Spirit gave utterance. From that day until now the enemy has never ceased to fight. But we have to remember
he has a job to do, and so do we. Have a good day.
