Ok, well I have this zit on my chin, its small but it kind of hurts. At first I thought it might be a coldsore, because it has that irratating deep pain like a cold sore, but it has that little white spot thing like zits do. And I've never gotten a cold sore on my CHIN, lol. But yeah, how do I make it go away fast, and why is it hurting? I wash my face in the morning and at night...

Well..no matter how much you wash your face.. your still most likely to get a pimple or two. This particular kind is called a blind pimple. It will hurt for a couple of days, don't try and pop it untill it stops hurting (trust me its not worth the pain) so in the meantime just keep washing your face normally... and when it stops hurting its safe to squeeze (if your the kind of person to do that)
Hope i helped.

Wow, don't listen to what any of these folks are saying! Popping it or putting weird ointments on can cause it to spread or get infected! Here's the best thing you can do: Get a washrag and a bowl full of hot salt water. Put the wet hot rag on the zit and keep it there a minute or until it's not hot anymore. Repeat this for ten minutes or so. Then you can find out whether it is ready to drain by PULLING the skin away from the zit on two sides. If it's ready to drain it will drain now. If not, do the same routine tomorrow, and the next day. Don't go trying to squeeze the darn thing! That will push more bacteria deeper into the skin and make more zits break out. If the zit drains, then blot it gently dry (don't scrub it dry with a towel) and use a q-tip to apply some antibiotic ointment like Neosporin, or some other triple antibiotic. If you don't have that try rubbing alcohol (this will hurt for a second) or try hydrogen peroxide (this won't hurt but it will leave a whitish reside right on the zit.) The worst thing you can do is squeeze. Pull the skin away from the zit (sort of like squeezing, but in reverse!) and if it doesn't drain Leave It Alone until tomorrow! Good luck!

the zit is infected. try rubbing a SMALL amout of antibiotic ointment on the zit after washing/drying your face. use this at least three times a day till you have relief. in the future, as SOON as the zit starts, do this and you may be able to prevent it from infecting and getting bigger

those kind of zits SUCK haha awww

i have on exactly like that right now

keep on doing what you're doing and don't get stressed out about it and it should go away!

don't rub or pick it cuz it will get irritated and red

you could put a on the spot pimple cream (neutragena makes a great one) on top of it before you go to bed, which would help shrink it up and clear faster

Hey, my homecoming is next Saturday! (: First of all, you have practically an entire week until Saturday, here's my advice - (Do this before you go to bed) Yes, it does hurt, but you're gonna have to pop it, otherwise it'll be there for about two weeks. Then, with a damp, cold washcloth, put it on your nose for about ten-fifteen minutes. Dab it dry, and put a tiny amount of toothpaste on it. Or lemon juice, whatever works for you. It'll be red for maybe the next day, but then you should be good. :D Good luck, and have fun at the dance!

Hi,
I am a dermatologist by profession and within a careeer of 10 years I have seen lots of acne problems. According to me Red and white pimples are the worst and painful. Acneprone skin is very sensitive, even if you touch it once the redness will increase with itching. According to me there is no magical way to heal your pimples over night as this is the puffed part of your skin due to the bacteria.

In simple words try to improve your diet and have lots of water that helps in healingg process. Un-necessary oily food should be avoided to get a healthy spotless skin.

Dont pick at it!! other than makes it hurt more it makes it all red. to dry out a pimple put some tooth paste (not the gel) on it (if its at night leave it there as a small white blotch but if its of a day kinda rub it in). to soothe it a lil and dry it out some try a tiny bit of lavender oil on it. am hooked on lavender oil for beauty ideas. another thing if u want a cheap toner (if u use one or want 2) try a few drops of laventer oil in rose water (the sort used to make confectionary... try the cooking aisle in the supermarket)
good luck
