Child of God - Thank you.

Some days I certainly find it harder to "walk the walk" and take up my cross and follow Jesus. It sure is easier to stand and just point in the direction of Calvary. I'm not always successful as an ambassador for Christ but I recognize that my journey is not over and I'm a work in progress. Blessings.

You've got to walk the walk to talk the talk. Actions speak louder than words. It's not so much an example as becoming a real person, wholly integrated. For a Christian it involves putting off the old man and putting on Christ, so that it is obvious that I no longer act, but Christ in me. It's all too true that I am fallible and get in His way, but that's the standard by which I live and the judgment (for myself rather than others) to which I'm ultimately held.

"People don't care what you know until they can know how much you care" Our faith must be seen and demostrated in our life, by our actions, by our setting the examples and not by our just saying it out. Jesus said, " ... and they know you are my disciples by your love." Love is best expressed through our action, something that is seen through what we do rather than words. Saying "I love you" to a hungry tramp does not help him much but taking him into your home and giving him a good meal gets the message across.

"Faith without words is dead!" - our faith must be seen in the way we live our lives, not how we say we want to live. My prayer is that my faith will be seen as one in which I am able to live by what I preach, and not just empty words.

Note: Christians are not perfect, sometimes we do also still make mistakes but our lives must reflect the genuineness of love if we are to impact others for Christ.

I think and hope that my faith is more shown by living by example. The bible does say that you should be doers of the word and not only hearers. I do believe that people that just say it are playing with themselves because the bible says that they say they love me with there mouths but there hearts is far from me.

God does not just want faith by itself he wants works. Faith without works is dead and if you are going to proclaim God you need to act upon it; I think this is why majority of the world might put down Christianity. I feel that if you are going to say Jesus you need to refrain from all unrighteousness because those who do those things will not even see the kingdom of heaven.

It does no good to simply say it without living it with fine works.

James 2:24 - Of what benefit is it, my brothers, if a certain one says he has faith but he does not have works? That faith cannot save him, can it?
James 2:26 - Indeed, as the body without spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead.

Actions speak so loud i can hear what you're saying. its pointless to believe something and not live it out. those people are not christians. please do not steroetype them as us. people who love God and love ALL others are obeying their faith.

I want it to be more by example, but, I sometimes fall short. I pray that my life would one day magnify the LORD in me.
