Why does it seem like the Christians who are the most outspoken against homosexuals are always the ones who get caught being gay. Senator Craig, Ted Haggard, Dick Cheney has a gay daughter. I think all this anti-gay stuff that the Christians spew out is a result of them represing their own tendancies.
Well, I don't believe that. I do believe that we all have sin in us. We were born in it. My point is this; if you see this stuff on television and in the public it was not so from the beginning but to each it's own. I don't have anything against the gays and lesbos. I pray that you find the truth before Jesus returns but that's your choice. God gave us all a brain and if you want to go with Dick and your name is Harry then something is not right, but that's your choice and that is something that your soul has to give an account for.
Now whether or not I believe that Christians spew out things about gays and lesbians because they want it themselves is not right. However, in some cases it is true. We all have fantasies because the devil is abounding more and iniquity is becoming more shown.
So what if Dick Cheney's daughter is gay. That's on her, but that doesn't mean that Christian women want to sex her.
Sorry, but I don't actually agree all the way with you on this statement. Well I guess we will see in the end want we.

The bible mentions numerous times that Homosexuals are sinning heathens. Most Christians that believe this are the Religious Nazi Types that take the word of the bible as tier only law. But I also know of a southern Baptist church that a friend of mine attends that has a gay choir director so i guess it just depends on the person and what they use to justify their beliefs. For some that justification is the assumption that the bible is the word of God and should be followed accordingly.

That's how it is for a lot of people in the closet. Even non Christians. People say a lot of times the person calling everyone gay in HS is hiding something. This is their way of convincing themselves why they shouldn't act on it. Or, at least, convincing other people that they're not gay. just like some guys who come out have been linked to some of the most gorgeous women.
However, I'm still iffy about that bathroom thing. . .

It could be. It could just be learned. I would like to point out that not all homophobes are Christian..I know some atheists that hate gays. I am a Christian and I have no issue with gays and support gay marriage.

While I think your opinion may have some "truthiness" in it......your opinion is rather a misleading generalization about christians. I think there many ppl of a variety of backgrounds and religious beliefs who are homophobic hypocrites.

I dont think all people that spew this hatred and suppressing latent tendencies. I just think whatever their justification for hatred, they are not following Jesus' teachings.
thanks

I think that they're in denial; they're dealing with cognitive dissonance between their religion and their feelings on the one hand, and on the other they're afraid that anyone'll find out, so they're as critical as possible so that no one will suspect anything.
It's humorous, because most conservatives are the ones who say being gay is a "choice".

For your Information, all Christians are not incapable of sinning. Never in the Bible was it said that those who believe in God will no longer have the ability to sin.
