anyone else have this problem?

for example: today. my boyfriend of 2 years lives 2.5 hours away. my college is having a formal dance tonight he said he could be here by 8pm. he was supposed to leave at 5:15. i told him to have everything packed and a light dinner with him for the ride since he was coming from class.

i just got a call. he is just leaving now! 6:30. he said he went home through through traffic to pack and to have a sit down dinner because he wanted to eat healthy. it drives me crazy! the group we were going with decided that it's too late to wait for him so they're leaving without us.

what should i tell my boyfriend when he gets here? i don't want to start anything because i want to have a good time. but i can't just blow it off, because he does these things all the time!!

I'm just about always late for anything. I simply do not care about time. And I care even less about other peoples time frames for things. Your guy feels the same...

The easy way to do this is to drop the time. Let him come over 'whenever', for example. Don't set a time.

The hard way is to whine and say something like 'if you love me you'd be on time'. This has only a 50% of working..most guys don't like to be forced to do things. Otherwise he could justs dump you for being too controling.
