I am in the U.S. Army..
I donate to Salvation Army..
I help out at the local library..
I give food to the homeless..

I donate to the local food banks, and I've donated my time and money several times a year to help in fund raising events for the local branches of the Humane Society...as well as a local organization that helps families of kids with leukemia from helping find bone marrow donors to helping them cover the enormous extra expenses they incur during treatment beyond what medical insurance covers. When I can, I throw a few dollars here and there to other charities I like as well. I wish I had more time and money to share!

Around the holidays I have donated to the main national suicide hotline (and will again this year), have given to the Red Cross when it's been a nasty year for the world, I also donate to Make-A-Wish in April for someone's birthday. And every other year I cut and donate my hair to Locks of Love.

I donate time to the local football team as a trainer. I am professionally an RN. I donate time to the RA class at our local church. I volunteer as a firefighter. I am also a first responder, which is a volunteer position. I give money to the United Way and to other charitable organizations which go through our church.
Now that having been said, I claim none of that. That is God working through me. It is not me. By myself, I am a selfish greedy individual who would rather only please myself. God works through me.

My time to talk about my profession to Intermediate and High School students.
I also donate food when a Hurricane hit one of the neighborhood islands.

I give a certain amount every month, to 3-4 charities, its not much but if everyone did that, they'd have enough.
Also at the moment, am trying to fund raise as much as possible for orphans in Bulgaria.
PS. I just remebered to your previous question regarding death, there's a very nice song by a famous Persian singer , whose songs are mostly written by a poet & who is very loved in Iran) about exactly the subject you had written about. I forgot to mention it...

I've donated to the Salvation Army, various charities made to help children in bad situations, and sent money to Africa for people living with AIDS/malaria, etc.

I do. I give to Cancer, neurofibromatosis, and I give money and food to my students whose parent(s) are otherwise engaged (drug dealing).

I weigh 80 pounds, so I cannot donate blood. You have to weigh at least 110.
I'm 30 pounds too light.

I donate all of the above to many varied organizations including, my church, other Christian organizations, our troops overseas, my needy students, big brothers/big sisters, breast cancer research, other medical research organizations, and a couple local shelters to name a few.
