I will try to get off my soapbox, no guarantees, but I will sincerely try. It is getting harder to find a doctor who will give you a prescription, I have a friend with a degenerative muscle disease,so I know. To save yourself some trouble use the phone book and start calling doctors A-Z. Ask the receptionist if the doc is taking new patients. If yes, then tell her you have a very bad chronic pain condition and ask if the doctor prescribes your prescription of choice. This will save you a vast amount of time & money and cut to the chase. You will be surprised at how many doctors won't prescribe pain meds. I just assumed that any and all doctors do that, that's why they went to school, to practice medicine. If you do this you will eventually find a doctor that is new in the area and accepting new patients. I think most doctors will only take so many chronic pain patients at a time, if any. Once a medically needy person finds a doctor, they aren't going to let them go, so no new openings. Good luck and see, no preaching on my soapbox!

i'm uncertain as to why they gave you 2 presciptions, yet i became into in a vehicle twist of destiny approximately 9 wks in the past i'm now 33wks pregnant. i became into cared for by a nurse/midwife from my medical doctors place of work when I left the well being middle I walked out with a presciption for Vicodin. i understand a number of people who've been prescriped Vicodin jointly as pregnant. No it isn't the ideal element so which you would be able to take once you're pregnant, yet once you're in opt for of it you may take it. it won't injury the infant, in case you proceed taking them for long sessions of time or at severe doses your infant will grow to be addicted to the drug which isn't good. in the event that they gave you it on the well being middle understanding you have been pregnant and have been there for 3 days then that's extremely nicely, merely take it how they directed you to apply it. good luck i'm hoping each and every thing is going nicely for you!!

You have to go to the doctor and do a pain rating scale,it also depends on the location of your pain, internal pains wont get you vicodin. There are many doctors who refuse to prescribe hydrocodone or oxy based pain medications because they are so misused. You basically have to have chronic pain and a good understanding doctor before you can get them.

I'm not preaching, but nobody intends on getting addicted to these drugs. When someone has chronic severe pain and on any narcotic there is always a risk of becoming addicted.
I was in the hospital for several weeks and now I ask to not be given Demeral because I like it way too much. Nothing at all to be ashamed about.
You need to speak with your doctor and if he feels that you are in need of something that strong he will give it to you.

It depends on the reason? If you are in pain than the Doc will prescribe, providing you have a health condition that requires pain killers. But not for body piercing or tattoos.

These meds are not just given for the normal pain, unless prescribed by a doctor, you can't just get them.
