Well rosco gave the stats but forgot 1 big number .....all the guns the criminals have that aren't accounted for. As for the numbers.....it's NUNYA... nun ya business unless someone tries to take the . Then you will see all of blue collar middle america stand up as 1 and stop it ...well hopefully thats what would happen, it would have helped the jews in 1930's germany if people said no, or china or russia or......

I have not been able to count them, but so long as not one of them is in the hands of a criminal I think it's alright. At least they have a common sense rule that a householder can defend their property without risk to his/her life. Here in the UK, if you harm an intruder you become the criminal and they become the victim.
Oh! for a UK common sense political party.

I don't think there are very many guns out there, if you want to use the most technical definition of the word. Now if you mean rifles, shotguns, pistols, etc....well, that's a completely different story. =P

i have 2, and bought hubby one last year for X-mas so that makes 3. mom has one, dad has a dozen or so. my cuz had as many as can fit under his bed. hubby's dad has about 20, step dad about 20. i would say 100 in my immediate family. Crazy Texans!
