Thanks.

i'm a muslim.
i beleive that my religion is the truth because...
well, once you think about it, moses was sent to guide the jewish people.
when they began to stray, god sent jesus, and he was to giude the people along the straight path.
when they strayed from the ture religion, god sent the prophet mohammad (pbuh), and there have been no other prophets since, so i know that islam is the truth.
also, everything in the quran makes sense.

Why not?
Seriously: Although I am Christian and believe that Christ came to give us the true word of God and to die for our sins, I don't know this to be ture. I believe it to be true. The distinction is important. To know is to have proof. To believe is to have faith.
An atheist friend asked me once if this wasn't the same as saying I believe in Santa Clause. He was surprized when I said yes. If I truly believed in Santa Clause in the way that I believe in Christ, that would be a true faith. But I don't and for good reason.

Christ is something more than fiction. A lot of atheists like to say there is no proof that Christ ever existed. Well, only if you also claim that George Washington never existed. The proof is just as flimsy. Was he the son of God. There I look at those who followed him, who they were and what an effect the man had on the society around him. I conclude that he was who he said he was. This is not proof and never will be. But, I BELIEVE IT!
Many atheist (and notice I don't say all like so many do about the group of people they speak of) are certain there is no God. They have no proof one way or the other, but they believe it. To each his own. I feel much better for having Christ in my life. If you feel much better for having nothing, then God bless you.

My religion is true because there are manuscripts that say that Jesus was at least a real human being. At whatever search engine you choose put in Josephus, Tacitus, or Pliny the Younger followed by Jesus and you will be amazed at what you will find.

Also, go to s8int.com. This site shows that even if God isn't real, Evolution sure ain't right.

Nearly all organized religions contain some truth -- mine included. I value mine above others because I find the way to be true [as a direction, or true north v magnetic north].
Merry Christmas

I don't believe my religion is the truth for everyone but it is for me and my family has decided it is for them as well. We have interactions with our deities, enjoy the worship and the warmth of the friends we have in the religion. We enjoy the research, the myths and searching.

No, it's not for everyone, each is to find their own path and respect the paths of others and not force any on others.

I asked God, and I interpret the response I got as a "Yes, it's true."

I see on a regular basis how the knowledge and understanding I have could bless so many lives. I want to share what I have, but often, people are afraid of it or aren't ready for it. So I wait.

John 17:17
Jesus prayed to the Father, "Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth."

God proves His Word and existence via the vehicle of prophecy. No other religion or holy book prophesies except the Bible.

This Bible says that there is only One Way to the Father, and that is through the Savior, Jesus Christ (Yeshua HaMeshiach). Who was the only one able to raise Himself from the dead to prove He had the keys of death and the grave.

This Bible also says that there is no way you can work your way to heaven--by being good, by giving money, by keeping the law. So God, via His grace and mercy, came down to earth in the form of man, and died in our place and offers this salvation as a free gift for all who desire it.

This Savior was the only One to have His coming prophesied in advance.

The above separates my belief system from all the others.

Because the Holy Spirit says it is. Because God says it is. Because Jesus says He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. And, my heart tells me they are speaking the truth.

I asked God and, by the gentle promptings of the Holy Ghost, He answered, and I followed. As I have followed those promptings that answer has been confirmed time and time again.
