You're funny! I was having a really bad day and now im a little happier. I never thought about that. I think that phrase was invented before astronaughts so back then everyone was on earth and astronaughts weren't a problem. Now, even though they aren't in America anymore, they still have to obey American laws, so I'm guessing this works the same way.

If He came in the rapture, they would come to meet Him in the air, ( if they were Christians ) If not, I don't know. Maybe He would bring them back before. In the rapture there could be two walking and talking and then there could be only one. First the dead in Christ will rise. Even the sea gives up the dead. WOW

God said He will find you at the bottom of the ocean or the farthest part of heaven. In the earth or on the earth or above the earth you cannot escape the Judgement of God.

Presumably god, being omniscient and all, wouldn't forget them. Although it'd be funny if he did. Maybe give himself a Macaulay Culkin-style forehead slap kind of thing? Or a Homeric "D'oh!"
Come to think of it, maybe that's what those Left Behind books and movies are really about?
