OMG! I loved Evel Knievel!
I had no idea he had passed until I read this thread. Cry. Cry. I will miss him. He was an inspiration to many people. Cry. Cry some more.

What a showman! He risked all for the sheer pleasure of thrilling his audience. And had a wonderful sense of humor, too. I haven't seen him in many years, but I enjoyed his brash style. They don't make 'em like that anymore.
