Well first off there is nothing wrong either way if you believe or do not believe each of us are entitled to our own choice.

We all die, it is inevitable so yes your questions have been asked for centuries by humanity and still no answer. no one has yet to return from the dead to tell us for 100% sure what is on the other side.

I do not count those that died for a few moments on a Hospital bed and saw a bright white light, of course they did it was the lamp of the Drs!!!

So we all question or at least most do their place in life and just how it is some are on top and either Presidents or Prime Ministers while others cannot even afford a meal. Who decides what life you are born into? No one know totally for sure and most have their beliefs and faith and that is all they can count on for their is no way to proving or disproving. So you yourself need to do the same thing and rely on your own gut feeling and faith. You either believe or you do not or you question. which of these you are is up for you to decide.

I think we all have though life is but a dream at one point or another and time does seem to go by so fast. Childhood, to marriage and family to grandparents to death. it happens so fast and we need to focus more on the time we do have and enjoy this gift of life we have no matter where it comes from, just enjoy it for you only have this life once, even if you believe in reincarnation you are still not the same person, just a reincarnation not a duplicate.

I hope you find where you fall in these categories then you can explore your own self better I think.

It is fine if you don't. It is best not to broadcast that because many people find that scary and may think less of you. There are scores of religions and almost all believers believe that their religion is the one and only correct one and all others are false. They amost always believe what their parents believe. So a devout Baptist would be a devout Muslim if he was born and raised in Iran. So doesn't that make you wonder? If they pray and something good happens it is because they prayed. If it doesn't happen it is the will of god. That is a little like heads I win and tails you lose. I believe that if there is a god he/she will want you to life a good life. That is be honest, caring, considerate and to try to do the right thing. To be charitable, visit the sick, help those who are having trouble etc. I really don't think he/she will put so much weight on going to church, praying etc. Be good and do good and if you make a mistake try not to do it again. Good Luck in finding peace on earth.

On the contrary, it's wrong to blank your mind with mysticism. To do so is to demean yourself by denying your humanity and its defining trait: your reasoning mind. People embrace mysticism out of fear of the unknowns of death, morality, and suffering, knowing full well it's a crock and a scam. But for more and more people lying to oneself is no longer good enough. When you abandon mysticism you open your life to truth, justice and freedom. I could never go back to being a slave to what is essentially and ideally an imaginary parent, who I pretend is always with me, loves me, and is so powerful that I insist I feel true love towards. I don't care if every person on Earth embraced this fantasy and were dancing in the streets with self-deluded happiness. I was and will remain skeptical of anything that isn't proven over and over again with hard evidence, math and video.

"Why am I here?" is a terrible question with no possible answer. The question you should be asking yourself is: "What am I going to do now that I'm here?" Real happiness in life comes from achievement of your goals.

If you believe in God and die and there is no God, then you have lived the life of a slave and have wasted your humanity.

for me a time came in my life where I had to beleive. Dont beleive because ur afraid of dying. YOur gonna die no matter what, one way or the other. Its wrong not to belive in God. If you think this couldve been created by any living thing, and that u truly have control your wrong. The only reason why we are here including you is to help someone else live better.

If you live a decent life and are a good person, it won't matter what's going to happen to you when you die because, if there is a God after all, he will know you have lived as well as you could.
If it turns out we are reincarnated, you are safe for that as well, because you will not have done anything that will cause you to return in a lower life form.
And if nothing happens...well, you will be remembered as a nice person and possibly be a role model to your children.
Do what you can to make sure the planet you leave is better than the planet you live in today. Make the effort to donate to those with lesser options than yours. Practise a random act of kindness every day. Let those you love know you love them. Don't procrastinate..start living your dreams today.

That's normal but you shouldn't stress yourself out about it, you're not alone. Everyone who is reading this, writing a response, all of your friends, role models, and more, are going to go through the same exact thing you are. Don't be scared, you can't control what is going to happen. Personally, I have heard that death is extremely peaceful. Honestly, there is nothing wrong with being an atheist, I am, and if a God would penalize you for not believing in Him, then he is not as loving as you thought and therefore there would be no point in living in His Kingdom forever if he is not accepting. Don't listen to the Bible, Koran, Torah...It is all fake.

This is an interesting question! Have a star! I don't think it's wrong not to believe in a god or gods. Many fundamentalists of many religions would disagree, but if you've never felt yourself drawn to any particular god then religion isn't for you. Don't worry about dying - what will be will be. I believe in reincarnation. A soul would be a terrible thing to waste.

no matter where you go on this planet, you will find a society that worships God in some form or other. You are here to learn how to be "God like" will you choose to be an evil lord, or a benevolent one? only you can make this choice. you could choose to not believe in a God and deny that part of your self. but to what end? If there is no God, then all is nothingness. Eat, Drink, Party your *** off! tomorrow you'll be dead, and only your fleas will morn you. but if there is a God, look for him and find him, if only to say thank-you for letting me have some time on this earth, to feel love, and to share it with others. you know in your heart that there is a God. Don't let your doubts steal it away.

Considering that you believe what's written in the Bible, yes, it's wrong to not believe in God. God is the one who gave life to all living things you see around you. God made each and every one of us for a purpose and unless you discover your purpose, you'll just roam around this earth trying to live instead of having a life. I really do hope you establish a relationship with God and have the time to ask Him what He has in store for your future if you follow Him. Believing in God is the first step to finding your purpose. Read the Bible and meditate on it.

Yes, as a believe and a follower of God and His Word, I can say without doubt that it is wrong not to believe in the One True God of Heaven. It is also wrong to claim to believe in Him but not follow His Word. It is so wrong, that those whom fail in either point will be destroyed forever in the Lake of Fire. Obviously, destruction in the Lake of Fire is reserved only for unrepentant sinners -- thus, it is a sin not to believe or not to follow His Word.

Now, from a human standpoint, how can God justify destroying those whom don't believe in Him and those whom claim to believe in Him but don't follow His Word? Well, if God is Who He says He is, then that makes Him the Owner of the Universe and the Source of all Life. Logically, then, those whom refuse to believe in Him or refuse to follow His Word, are actually stating their desire to have nothing to do with God's Universe nor God's Word.

As the Source of Life, then, He is obligated to give them what they so desire. Death.

Rom. 1:20 "For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:"

The best reason to love God is when you find out just how much He loved you first. The following two books will go a long, long way towards explaining that to you -- based on the Bible.
