I know nothing about wine. But I found this bottle of 1987 Cheateau Ste. Michelle Chardonnay. Is it peaking? Is it beyond the peak? Or should I sell it because its worth something? I'm so confused.

It's not going to be a great Chardonnay, because it's well beyond its peak. So, drink it, but don't get too excited, or expect anything special.

that wine would have been ok to drink in 1990, it is far beyond it's peak now. no, it isn't worth anything, it probably isn't even worth drinking.
