the only people who may hate buddhists are the people that some of them beg for food. it's an exercise in humility, but those not versed in the practice see it as vagrancy.

other than that, buddhists don't go about forcefully converting or dominating anybody, nor have they destroyed whole countries for economic profit, so i don't see why any "they" would hate them as a whole.

Buddhists did not circulate around shoving bibles or qu'rans in human beings's palms with gunsswords at their heads. Buddhists did not forcably convert all and sundry. Buddhism is an exceptionally non violent, tolerant faith, which some planned to be greater like a philosophyteaching, then a doctrine that one HAS to abide by. Out of each and every of the religions, Buddhism is rather the single to circulate, if one feels you opt for to adhere to a pair form of prepared faith-team. in my view, i think of which you would be able to take some college philosophy classes, do alot of questioning, save an open recommendations, do alot of interpreting on distinctive ideals, and form your guy or woman ideals somewhat stick to anothers'.

Who, the Muslims? This might answer your question: http://www.iran-press-service.com/articles_2001/mar_2001/taleban_buddha_statues_1301.htm

Muslims hate the Israelite because of the difference between two sons of Abraham - Issac and Ishmael. This difference is first mentioned int he book of Genesis.

The West is hated simply because, the war between these two religions is supported by bully counties like the USA.

It is a shame that our government (USA) keeps the trouble going. The USA spends 10 billion a year supporting Israel. When you fuel the war machine of one side, you had better expect problems with the other side. BTW; The USA supports the other side sometimes as well. Why? Because there is profit in war.

Who is 'they'? Of course, there are people who hate Buddhists. Look at the situation in Tibet and you'll see a good example of that. I have no comprehension of what it's like to be a Buddhist in those countries. I'm grateful to have the freedom I have to practice Buddhism even if others don't agree with it.

I am Buddhist. Ours is the most peaceful religion in the world. We're never taught to hate or despise other religions but respect and accept them as everybody has a different faith. We love peace and harmony.

How can anyone hate Buddhist's, they are such lovely people. I think I know who you mean but if they follow their own religion then they should not hate anybody. It is only the extremists of this religion that cause the problems.

islam does not recognise buddhism as a religion or indeed sikhs, hindus. the only religions recognised by islam are christianity and judaism (surprisingly) as they believe in one god and are religions of "the book"
