i am not looking for a reason why you believe the truth or what you say is truth.....without any bias to your 'belief'
remember multiple choice in school....one is right! please no need to pick an answer, just get a grasp on the concept.

1. chose one of the following statements:

a.There is no God
b. There is a God
c. (there is no 3rd choice, because a and b are the only options)
d. (there is no 'all of the above' that would be a contradiction)

hardly anyone is answering correctly here....

if we both disagree.....one of us is right and one of us is wrong.....why do some believe that we both can be right?

if i say there is one god and you believe in five gods...then someone is wrong!!!who cares what mans opinions are.....are you the one who is right? are you really really sure? it is a big deal if you are the one who is wrong...think about it.

I would choose b. And yes, there is absolute truth, just as there is absolute life and absolute death. Let them try to argue against that on.

People who believe in 'relative' truth do so because they have no truth in themselves. They are in an obvious conflict with reality. There either is or there isn't. There are no 'in betweens' in reality.

E. There are MANY Gods.

What about my response didn't *you* understand? People don't believe these things just because they "wish" to. They have a *reason* for it.

And different people with different beliefs have different reasons for those beliefs. So then what? Then you have to let each person be free to make those decisions themselves... because all attempts at proving any one of the above come up short. There is no proof for this question one way or another.

P.S. Mental (below) is correct. There are other ways of thinking about the Gods that you don't seem to be aware of. They are internally consistent and make sense within the belief system. They aren't "wrong" or "contradictory" just because they don't fit YOUR particular conceptual boxes.

Try this one out on your "absolute truth": Is the Christian God "one" or "three"? Don't contradict yourself, now! It must be one or the other, right?

How is anyone supposed to know?

If you claim to know, there is always someone right behind you that claims to know too, only different. No one can prove anything.

My guess is that there is a God/Intelligent design whatever. I think nature is "proof". It is to me, but not to the atheist. Neither of us can prove conclusively that the other is wrong.

My conclusion is that there are so many views that there is no known absolute truth about God and anyone claiming such knowledge is full of s**t.

You would think if the Supreme Being did exist, he would make himself known. Not thru some delusional ancient book, but actually make an appearance so that he could set the record straight.

If you believe in one GOD only, then you cannot believe that the bible came from this GOD. The image of god in the o.t. is nothing like the image given by Jesus. Where do you see a single (just one) fruit of The Spirit in the o.t. god? If salvation is a gift from GOD, not of works, then what is all that obey me or else nonsense in the o.t. for? Wake up and believe Jesus, not Moses. They're not talking about the same god.

I have no idea where you got this from. D. because I have an open mind and anything I say would contradict the 3 options given.
You do understand that for those of us with different beliefs would find every choice to be a false one.

The last part of Romans Chapter 1 tells how God revealed himself to mankind in various ways so that mankind is without excuse.

Why would both be a contradiction? I'm a Wiccan, and I believe in One God(Deity), a God and Goddess(Lord and Lady), AND many many Gods and Goddess from multi pantheons. I believe in all of those as actual beings and abstract forces, and also as just the forces that make up the universe. Multiple realities and states of being can yield multiple ways to see things.

this question cannot be answered
not by anyone , especially not if you are looking for truth

for those with faith in God , they will believe he exists .... but it is faith
for those who dont believe in God , this can never be proven

you are asking the impossible here and leaving no room for anything else
things are not as black and white
