Well at least you learnt the 'even if it seems right, NEVER delete the program files' lesson :). I've used a tool called JavaRa before... just search Google for it. It is a small tool that will completely remove older versions of Java and check for updates etc. That might help. Also try installing a tool called CCleaner. It is mainly used to remove junk and clean up your registry but there is also a nice uninstaller tool that will remove entries from the programs and features list if the uninstaller link isn't working. You can do this yourself in the registry but it's easier that way. If not then maybe perform a system restore,

You can try a gobal uninstaller program.. There are plenty available online. If this didn't work, then search for the log the installer created in the first place. There you'll see exactly what files it had copied and what registry keys were added. Following this info you can remove it "manually", though it's a bit risky...

Manually find the Janes sub folder in the program files folder and delete the Janes folder. That will remove the program. It may still show up in the Control Panel, but he bulk of the game will be deleted.

Something like System Mechanic, Cleansweep or any maintenance utility will do it. Have you tried to reinstall the program, again ? If you can reinstall it successfully , you might be able to get the uninstall program to run properly .

do you really need to uninstall? i mean is it giving you weird messages when you run your computer... because if it is not causing trouble, it is safe to let it be because it has written to your registry partially.. one idea is to reinstall it completely from the disk and then once it is done, restart your computer and then uninstall.. hope it works.

it may work in safe mode, if not you'll have to search for it, and likely it will show many parts of it. look for the largest parts, this may not delete all, but will disable.
