I've had insurance on most of my credit cards for almost 2 -3 months now and I just got laid off from the company I was working at ... so in a week I'll be unemployed. My credit card insurance covers me if I loose my job but I don't know if I'm gonna be able to use it after being signed up to them for less than 3 months.

So my question is .. How much time after being signed up to them, does it take to be able to use my credit card insurance?

I'm very much worried since the unemployment agency doesn't pay that much and I have bills and a house to pay like almost everyone else. Thanks !

Did you save the credit card agreement? If not, ask your credit card company for the insurance terms.

It should pay but often these programs have so many gotchas that they never pay off. I always recommend NOT wasting money on this kind of stuff.
