I am 23 and he is 22. I've known him for a year or so and he is just everything I could ever dream of. Of course, he's above me and I'm below. I am a mini-supervisor, but he's still higher than me. Sometimes he talks about us getting a drink together, but then other times he talks about how he's not supposed to hang out with the coworkers.

I really like him. What should I do?

Well ask him to go out and have a drink with you. If he says "sure" like he was implying earlier that he wanted to do it, then great. If he says " I'm not supposed to hang out with the co-workers" then tell him stop asking you to go out and have a drink. Theoretically, you cannot have a drink with him and not be hanging out with him at the same time. Tell him to pick one. Good luck!

Next time he talks about getting a drink, take him up on it. Nothing's going to happen until you guys get out of the work environment.

You could also ask him if he wants to join you for lunch sometime.

Never bring romance into the work place. It is unavoidable disaster!
It is even worse when the two employees are not on the same level in the company.
Either hold the romance until one of you has a new job or just remain platonic co-workers.

Take him up on his offer. Tell him you're free after work, and wanted to know if he wanted to get that drink he was talking about. If he says anything about it being against company policy, then he obviously likes you, but doesn't want to risk his career over you.

either just remain friends or quit and than you can date him.
dating someone at work especially if your not on the same level is a bad thing, if things don't work out work will become an obstacle and normally these things don't work out.
Is it worth losing your job over?
ask yourself that and than decide.

Do you like him or the job better? If the job, don't date him. If him, quit and find another job. I totally agree that you shouldn't date coworkers. It can be sooo awkward.
