Send in Christian missionary's and they will eventually over time learn how to be a religion of peace and love
never do you hear about Christians killing Atheist or people for naming a teddy bear Jesus do you?

I think in countries with a great deal of civil wars, hatred, corruption and the like, there is a great deal of sensitivity. In addition, when there is a lot of poverty, the only thing to hold on to is your beliefs. They feel they are being mocked. We have to understand that in countries like Saudi Arabia women are not allowed to drive, theives can have there hands cut off if they commit a crime. We need to be sensitive to peoples beliefs but I think the reaction was an extreme attitude. The Sudanese don't want any foreigner to poison their beliefs and in their eyes this is what the British teacher has done. I personally know very little about Islam but I think there is a strong sentiment that Islam is superior to all beliefs and anyone who criticizes should face great consequences. We have to realize that sometimes there is a strong relationship with politics and religion particular in nations where Islam is the main religion where Islamic law is held in all society life not just in the mosque. Over hundreds of years, the European countries like Spain, France etc, have learned to seperate church and state. What makes Europe and America different (and Christianity) is we are a multicultural, multiracial society that adapts to different mindsets and attitudes and we don't take personal attack because we encourage freedom of speech.

Thea ansers below is are not correct and are wrong and stupid and lies. well IF they are reffering it as mo as being the prophet yes because would you like it if some one walked up to you and told you that a pile of crap was jesus no obviosly and Im muslim and I recpect jese because he is a prophet but not the last one so he is still popular and it says he talked whenhe was a couple fo months old so thats a wow thing. but if the teacher meant it as a regular name not caling the teddy bear and accual prphet then those peope who want to kill are wrong.

understand that these people are the same ones killing and raping people in southern Sudan (the "real sudanese" btw) over their color. the Sudanese government needs to be jailed because they support Usama Ben Laden.

They can't. They are dumber than a rock. Besides I think Mohamed is stupid name for a teddy bear or anything else for that matter. I think if we built a McDonald's over there they would mellow out a little. I mean who can be nasty when your eating a Big Mack? Besides all that cholesterol would do 'em good. What do you think?
