My cats have recently had fleas, when mum went to buy the frontline the man in the petshop said that there seems to be a lot of it around at the moment, which is very uncommon. Frontline has worked for my cats - and for me as I was getting covered in flea bites! (don't worry - only put it on the cats!). Get a flea collar too, which you can't put on until about a week after the flea drops, but it keeps the bad boys at bay!

The frontline will work even if they already have fleas, it will just take a few days. Unless you feel them biting you, I wouldn't worry about bombing your house, just wash the dogs good (remember to put a ring of soap around their neck BEFORE soaping the rest of their body because the fleas will (excuse the pun) ...flee onto their head if you wash the body first.

Yeah, its highly possible. Fleas are not insects, they can live happily all the year round since they feed on blood. Horrible little things.

I have three indoor/outdoor dogs... Yes it can happen. They seem to multiply indoors esp in carpet. I use Frontline and yes it does work.

fleas can lay dormant in carpets etc for up to 2 years and they are about all year round. I don't know about flea treatment I've not used it.

we had our dog at the vet's on sat, he told us that most of the pets they'd seen recently had fleas. it's apparently due to the relatively cool summer and milder winter.
