I'm sure it probably is possible but I've never managed it and there is no optimum time or way to guarantee popping all the corn.
I just put the unpopped stuff back in again for a bit, I usually get some more out of it that way but it still doesn't all pop.

I have not had any luck getting them all to pop in commercial packaged bags. I make my own by putting a heaping tbls of dry popcorn into a brown paper lunch sack Twist or staple the top, and pop without oil or butter. after it is popped, I pour some into a bowl and spray on "I can't believe it's not butter", pour in some more and spray. Delicious

Maybe this helped. Hope so,

No

If you increase the time, you will burn it. Perhaps if you stopped it after 2 minutes and removed all of the popped corn and then put the bag back in. But.........Is it worth it??? And then you couldn't enjoy those teeth breaking kernels at the bottom of the bowl.

It's impossible. Gone through 1000s of bags over the years and there's always kernels.

it is not truly helpful because it may catch hearth. those unpopped kernels won't pop besides. There merely wasn't adequate moisture in the kernel to creat adequate steam to pop. They call those "previous maids".

Only if you don't mind it being VERY burnt - and even then, there is STILL no guarantee that EVERY kernel will pop...

Sometimes there is just so little (or NO) water left in the kernel - that it is unable to pop ;);););)

Sometimes I pick all the old maid out and put them back in the bag fold it and put it back in the micro. I get most of them then.
