When a Muslim blows something up, why does the fact that he is Muslim come into light? When Timothy McVeigh blows up a federal building in Oklahoma, why does the fact that he is Christian NOT come to light? Did Jeffrey Dahmer cannobolize in the name of Christianity....or was he a mentally imbalanced psychopath? i think we would all say he was a psychopath....would we say the same if he was a Muslim or an Atheist? or would our Christian nation go on the attack if that was the case?

I've raised the "McVeigh was a Xian" point 'til I was blue in the face. This was right after Sept. 11, 2001. But all I got was the "he wasn't a TRUE christian" line. (This is known as the "No True Scotsman fallacy.)

Hello.. :)

Timothy McVeigh did not bomb the Federal Building in the Name Of Jesus..but for revenge.. :(

Jeffery Dahmer was not a Christian until "after he went to prison" for cannibalizing those young men..

That depends on WHY the person committed a heinous act. Being Muslim is mentioned often because the person killed in the name of religion. Didn't McVeigh have some religious agenda, though?

Because the reason the muslims blew something up was to make a point FOR thier religion. Sort of a given in that it will be brought up. Just like when Christians bombed abortion clinics in the NAME of Jesus, it was brought ot light.

McVeigh and Dahmer didn't do the things they did in the name of their religion (if they even were Christian, I honestly don't know). Whereas the Islamists DO.

Which is not to say Christians don't, remember when they were shooting abortion doctors? But most of the violent religious-based lunacy is currently coming out of Islam.

Just because someone takes the name of Christ does not make them Christian:
Matthew7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of the Father which is in heaven.
Matthew 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
Matthew 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

You never seen 100,000 Muslim's gather together and say death to the Christians, Americans, and Jews ?

Koran says if you are not Isam then you must die is why,

Sura (9:29) - "Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued."

Sura (9:30) - "And the Jews say: Ezra is the son of Allah; and the Christians say: The Messiah is the son of Allah; these are the words of their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved before; may Allah destroy them; how they are turned away!"

Some christians have taken it a step further, by suggesting that McVeigh and Dahmer were Catholic.

first i'd like to say I don't believe islam had to do with it. If those people were raised under the flying spaghetti monster they would've used that as a reason to attack.

but i think it might have something to do with the fatwa issued by bin laden (even though many islam groups have issued fatwas against him)

and the fact that the last words on the recordings are "Allah au akbar"

the terrorists claimed to be acting for Islam. i suppose that's where it starts.

Not a good point. Islam does their hate in the name of religion. Your two examples are just freaks who did not claim anything in the name of religion. Keep trying.
