Everytime. I even worry about them when I don't see them for a while. What a wonderful job that must be. Just smile and say hello all day.

I do. I used to know some of them, retirees who just wanted to get out of the house and still feel productive. I always smile, return their "Good morning!", and when they offer a cart I say thank you.

I usually buy my food at near local supermarket.
Walmart is just plain over rated and alway's pack.
I can't buy EVER nothing in peace for the simple fact
that ppl hit you with there carts..or cut you off..
Like driving.

Always, usually they are people with disabilities or really old and adorable! =) They need some appreciation for their patience to stand there all day!

I tend to just smile at them and walk by, I only verbally acknowledge them and say 'Hi', though, when they say something to me first.
