Or maybe just that part north of the Mason-Dixon line? The region south of the Mason-Dixon line seems destined to Mexico.

I'm not in favor of this. It's purely a speculative question.

When two country merge they will lose their identity, their way of life and their nationality. Is not good to lose all this thing because then you cannot be a Patriot or proud of your country. WE will become like the big interest just worrying about money without thinking how or who gets hurt or what happen to the land, to them profits come first, second, third.....and so on. Countries could be allied, friends but not dissolve into each others. Who is going to be the domain one ?

I hope not. There is absolutely no reason for a merger between the two countries. Our forefathers fought and died so the United States could be an independent country. Canada and Mexico can be our allies but nothing else.

The Clintons and the Bushes are working with the Council on Foreign Relations, The Trilateral Commission, and the Bildenbergers to make it happen. They also want Mexico to be part of the North American union, which would be suicidal for Americans and Canadians. We would be engulfed by the tens of millions of Mexicans fleeing their corrupt country.

Nope. Never. Most Canadians wouldn't want to be US Citizens and lose there precious socialized medical care. Also, we have enough people leaning on government support, we can't add all of Quebec, let alone the whole country of Canada.

Won't happen.. there is too much French influence. Being part of the US would mean they might have to stand up for something and they couldn't do that.

God I hope not. It will be a disaster.

Americans taking over and acting like they own the place. Ruining this beautiful country, just like they ruined their own country.

Probably insist on removing our socialised health care because they think its communism - that thinking is just SO out of date and stupid.

You must be kidding! Why would they want to be a part of a country where everything is going wrong. They also have better benefits for their people. I don't think they'd want us screwing them up.
