There is this kid in our class, and he is sooooooooooooo annoying that everybody hates his guts. So, he is like so into wrestling: WWE, ECW, TNA, ect., and when somebody says wrestling is fake - he is like SHUT UP! I DONT WANT TO HEAR YOU! He gets like soooooooo made, and one kid today, said it and the ander problem kid went up to him, and grabbed his shirt, and almost punched him. Do you think this kid has issues, or is he just trying to act tough?

What a shame you can't stop annoying each other! Kids do become a little obsessive about things they like, some more intensely than others. I think you should all give him some space, stop "hating" him and deliberately winding him up. He sounds like he's either really into wrestling or maybe he's descended from someone who was to get an interest this intense.
His reaction is quite strong, if he "doesn't want to hear you", sounds like he would prefer to hang on to his ideas for security maybe.
Its purely a phase, I would hope, as it is for your class. I'm afraid to say that you all probably grow out of this stage and find other things to be obsessive about.
Try not to make things worse. Who needs it? Be tolerant of each other and class life should improve. If you guys can't manage that alone, then speak (as a group) to a trusted teacher and get some advice. Good luck!

Why do people pester him, saying it's fake? It's those people who have the problem, not the "violent" kid. They need to stop pushing his buttons on purpose.

Even though you might know it's fake, he doesn't want to believe it, and that's perfectly fine. There's nothing wrong with it because it's not hurting anyone, and you'll find out as you grow that many people choose to believe things that might not be true, but it's far better to leave them be than to pester them and start them up arguing about it.

I think people are picking on him. Even though some people might say, "it's the wrestling violence," I'm going to say that it's more likely he feels picked on. You said yourself, people make fun of him watching wrestling.

He probably is just sick of being picked on. With enough teasing, even the best/most gentle kid will snap.

Sounds to me like he has problems. But so do the kids who keep teasing him in this manner. If it keeps happening its because other kids know how to get under his skin and keep doing it.

It depends how old he is really. If he is young, it might be signs that he has anger management problems, or he just is fooling around. If he's older than he probably does have problems.
