Teddy Bear Story?

I have to ask. I'm sure this topic has been going crazy on YA today so I'll add one more to the mess.

This teddy bear Mohammed story.... She made an honest mistake. She didn't do this to insult anyone. Now there is a petition going around wanting her executed by a firing squad.

Are we saying that no one is allowed to make mistakes anymore? That they are willing to **kill** a woman over a teddy bear?

My sentiments exactly. Oh, no, let's not show how peaceful and caring we are by correcting her faux pas and forgiving her for the honest mistake. Let's show what psychotic, asinine, cruel, rabid beasts we are by wanting to execute her for it.

Yeah, that makes all the sense in the world.

They should kill all their own kids named Mohammad then because they are no prophet.That does not make sense neither does this teddy bear,after all it might protest if it could talk ha ha.Darn,someone insulted a teddy bear lets all get upset and go after those infantile people.gees.............Well hey did that get a laugh? It would be funny if so much wasn't at stake here.I am beginning to feel real pity towards a religion here that allows such stuipidness in the name of it.Sorry.

First you have to remember that she is not in the USA. In some parts of the world, and in some religions you are not allowed to make a mistake. Many Christians also practice this attitude, despite being taught different by the Bible.

And yes they are obviously willing to 'kill' a woman over a teddy bear. Great PR, huh?

Like I said elsewhere, if a child in america named their teddy bear Jesus, would the same thing happen to the parents or teacher? Highly unlikely.

This is a reaction gone way overboard because the teacher is not muslim.

And thats why muslims have such a bad reputation. They have not learned to be tolerant.

HONEY, SHE'S A WOMAN IN A PREDOMINATELY ISLAMIC NATION. A THIRD WORLD NATION AT THAT. IT'S ACTUALLY SURPRISING THAT THEY DIDN'T STONE HER BEFORE THE AUTHORITIES GOT HER INTO ISOLATION. REMEMBER THAT IN MOST ISLAMIC COUNTRIES WOMEN HAVE ALMOST NO RIGHTS. A WOMAN CAN BE STONED FOR SHOWING TO MUCH OF HER ANKLES. A WOMAN CAN BE GANG RAPED AND SENTENCED TO JAIL AND PUBLIC WHIPPING, BECAUSE SHE WAS WITH A MALE WHO WAS NOT HER RELATIVE. they have relatively lovable teddy bears at mattress, tub and previous. They smell somewhat stable too. stable good fortune, and that i might prefer to have you ever as a chum if the fortunate guy or woman is getting one hundred funds. ?

something to remember...in islam, the name mohammed is considered sacred. to name anything after mohammed is considered a sin. whether you agree or disagree with the judgement...they (islam) believe that the woman has show disrespect toward their prophet, and that she has sinned. in their (islam) eyes there is only one punishment acceptable to them and that is death. to islam, it does not matter if the person, who has sinned, is a member of islam.

thats sick but she wont be killed she will serve 2 weeks and cause of spotlight be well treated the fact she was even charged is sick> If they killed her it would justify an invaision.
