Sweet and sour salmon. I tweaked this recipe I got from http://www.allrecipes.com that I got for "Aloha Chicken"...I don't have any more pineapple...which I thought I did, so I poached the salmon partly in the oven with lemon juice instead of water, and then made the sauce with mandarin oranges instead, and a bit of hot sauce. It smells really good. I'm making garlic and herb whipped potatoes and asparagus on the side.

I am hungry too.
And I need groceries but it is snowing badly.
So I was going to order in from my fav. chinese delivery place but they dont deliver until 5 and i am hungry now.
so i went to the little store in my buildings complex and bought a bottle of OJ and some chocolate to tide me over.
real healthy i know, but i am celebrating. my former roomie moved out today and i have a whole 2 weeks until the new roomie moves in!

I'm a little late in answering. I had sushi for dinner. Met a friend and went to a sushi restaurant I'd never been to before. It was very good.

Well, my hubby worked on Thanksgiving so we are doing ours today. Here's what's on the menu:

Ham with brown sugar glaze
Yams with marshshellows (that's how my toddler says it)
Fresh steamed broccoli and cauliflower with lemon pepper
Mashed potatoes ( Jeanna style)fresh, crumbled bacon, sour cream, chives, butter, fresh minced garlic, salt and pepper all mixed together.
Green salad
Warm rolls
Pumpkin pie for dessert
If you lived near, we'd invite you to dinner.
:)
