I Always feed my kitties before i eat. Straight after they have ate they come to me and just sit there until i give them some of my food! I usually cave in and give them a tiny bit but i never give them anything that is harmful to them. What should i do?

You have got to try tough love. Sorry, but that is the way it is. I always feed mine before I have dinner, and that usually works. But at lunch, there are always opportunists. I just refuse. Sooner or later, they will get the message. By giving them even a small amount, they are being rewarded and that is not good. At least you are not giving them anything harmful, and only a tiny amount. But the amount you really want to give is Zero.

Well, as long as you don't give them anything harmful (like onion or chocolate) I don't see the problem with it apart from you being hungry. I think the best thing to do is to make a bit extra. I know others have told you to ignore your kitten but i know I wouldn't be able to do it.

Stop giving them your food. They keep doing it because you keep giving in. If you ignore them they'll figure out that their trick isn't working anymore and stop bothering you.

ignore them, as hard as it is, you have to stop feeding them your food. otherwise they will never break the habit. if that doesn't work you could always spray them with water.

They do it because you cave.

Stop caving or get used to sharing.
