Easy Kiddy Mac n Cheese
you will need: maccaroni pasta in the shape of your choice, Krafts mexican 4 mix grated cheese, 2% milk, butter or margarine
1. Boil noodles until al dente or soft
2. strain it but do not rinse
3. put back on stove
4. add all the cheese, 1/3 cup of milk, and a tap of butter
5. mix and cook together until melted and gooey

hopefully the question is not because you never normally help with cooking and don't know where to start, but because you're trying to make a memorable night for just the two of you. In that case, make your own sandwiches and milkshakes and have a picnic dinner in the living room. (in the former case, try to help out a little more :-), start with easy stuff like pasta or mac&cheese or grilled cheese for now but make a point to learn to make whatever your usual family favorites are)
