I cant decide which one I want. they are both so dang cute!! Help me out!

They both have great traits. Just think about a couple things before you pick. Do you have the time for the grooming with the female? Her being long haired will be a little more upkeep. Are you planning on getting your dog fixed? If not, I would go with the male since he will be a little less work for that as well. Lastly, if these two problems are of no concern for you, let the puppy pick you!

First, what is the temperment of the two dogs?
Second, have you looked at and handled the parents?
Third, have you checked the pups breeding/health history?
if you chose the female: are you willing to groom often? Long coats need brushing.
Smooth coats are easier to keep clean, damp rag works wonders. Are you getting them fixed? If not you will have the male marking and the female going into heat and that is icky if she happens to be on your lap.. unless you use the heat panties.. I can see why you want the help. they are both sweet looking pups, from show possiblities they both appear to be good prospects. If you intend on breeding, please have the vet check the females hips, she may have trouble. It is hard to say from a photo..
I breed and raise both long and smooth coats, so to me I would take both..lol I guess I would say the female would be a good one. but Please, check health back ground, do you get a health guarentee? vet check? shot record? wormer chart?
but depending on how much you are going to put it, showing, breeding... If you are not in to those things then have it fixed and have a great pet! either would work for that.. one of My females prefers my hubby, and the male is my boy. The bond fast and are loyal. they prefer to be with their person. don't worry, what ever one you choose, it will have YOU trained in no time at all.. that's just the way of the CHI...

Depends on you! I think they are both cute, so here are some general differences between the sexes (not always true, but true often enough to be worth considering!):
Males usually bond better with women, females usually bond better with men.
Males are usually more playful into adulthood, females are more likely to be calm lap dogs.
Long hair requires regular brushing, short hair may get cold more quickly.
Hopefully these things give you more to think about!

ok well first off the nicer personality os better but i am not sure if you are looking for a cuter dog or a nicer looking dog....i think the colors on the male are awesome he looks like he is going to be a good looking dog....the female looks like she could be some other breed and her colors are not that unique.....depends on what you like.....if you want a chihuahua i would go with the male he looks like one and a good one at that.....this is my male chihuahua......i think long haired ones defeat the purpose a little

I'm not fond of Chihuahuas but I would go with the long hair, she's cute. I am getting a new Westie this month and I can't wait!

Although I'm a fan of long haired chihuahuas, I think the male has one of the sweetest expressions in a chihu. Good luck.

I would definitely go with the male short-haired Chihuahua. He is SO adorable and has the cutest little face! Not that the girl ISN'T adorable, but males can also have better temperments. Good luck!

Uhh they're soo cute :{{ Why you have to choice :{{ The male i soo sweet but the girl is very beautiful... so choose - cute or beautiful ( just have this on your mind - the female will listen you more 'cause you're guy)
