Go to see your family doctor first.
I guess it is something about rhinitis.
Some medication may be helpful.

Use a commercial preparation of saline nose drops or you can make your own solution of 1/4 teaspoon salt in 8 ounces water (measure carefully) Put a few drops in each nostril, wait 5 to 10 minutes, and blow your nose. Also use a steam vaporizer or humidifier or if you dont have one of those run some hot water in the shower and shut the door. Sit in the steam for 15 minutes 3 to 4 times a day until the nasal cavities are clear. With these methods you should be clear within a few days and if its allergies...take some benadryl as well! Hope you feel better!

Nasal spray works well with minimal side effects, but the dosage is limited. If you want something to use regularly, wasabi horseradish will clear it out temporarily. (if you eat it) If you don't have access to that, you could try hotsauce (eaten, not shoved up your nose) or jalepenos. Pretty much anything with a kick will clear it for a couple of hours. The nasal sprays can work for up to 12 hours.

.
A nasal rinse works awesomely well even though many people don't know about it. It rinses the allergens away and is very moisturizing. This is the HEALTHIEST, quickest way.

Drink LOTS of water to loosen mucous up. Hot water and eucalyptus tea are fabulous too!
A nice steaming hot shower, cold or warm air humidifier.
You will only suffer from rebound stuffiness if you use medications! Best wishes.

well, if the blockage is in the lower part of the ....'nasal canal' then you just blow your nose.

if its in your sinuses, find a website that shows you where the pressure point is near your sinus, and push on that.

if its in your upper 'nasal canal' then i think you should get one of those humidifiers and breathe in through your nose. and if you dont feel like getting a humidifier, just make some hot tea or some type of liquid that will steam and put your face over it and breathe in through your nose.

well you could try over the counter medication such as Clariton and if its been bothering you for 2-11 days go see you doctor.
Also if you get sick more then 2 in 6 months with congestion you should ask you doctor about seeing a ENT(ear,Nose,Throat) Specialist.

I'm assuming by "blocked" you mean " stuffed". If I assumed correctly, try applying a little Vicks Vapor Rub around your nostrills (not inside... it will sting). It works all the time for me. :D
