If not for Ponography?
Bundy said he began casually reading soft-core pornography when he was 12 or 13 years old. His friends found pornographic books in the garbage cans in his neighborhood: "(F)rom time to time we would come across pornographic books of a harder nature ... a more graphic, explicit nature than we would encounter at the local grocery store," he told Dobson in the taped interview. "But slowly throughout the years reading pornography began to become a deadly habit.

"My experience with pornography ... is once you become addicted to it, (and I look at this as a kind of addiction like other kinds of addiction

selective use of evidence may not intentinally be dishonest on your part, but the end result is still the same.

there have been murderers throughout history, including those who have singled out women and children. If anything, there were more in the past than there are today -- at times when pornography was nonexistent.

Using others' tragedy to promote your agenda is rather sad.

Using one example to represent a totality is extremely dishonest. By your logic, if one person who plays tennis develops cancer, then tennis causes cancer.

You ask if porn is moral or immoral, but the real question is lying to promote censorship immoral or immoral? You know the answer. That's why to took the spin you did.

I think porn is a negative factor, just as you state. I don't disagree with you on this statement.

I think, however, it's a lot deeper than that. There are plenty of people who can look at pornography casually and not it have a profound effect on them.

Then there are those that will do just what you stated. They will start at a certain level and get harder and harder core when a low level will no longer excite them.

I think it's naive that some are attacking you for stating this. Of course it's a factor, just as alcohol is a factor in many traffic accidents. That doens't mean, however, that ALL people have trouble handling alcohol.

Pornography has always been part of our society since the beginning of mankind. The God Yahweh's laws which the United States used to be under generations ago which was what we call censorship laws kept pornography out of the mainstream media including newspapers, magazines, radio and television. This helped to keep our children from being overexposed at a young age to immoral sex. But now mankind has allowed the devil to take over the rules of society to the point of no return as far as morals go for our children as well as adults. There is no shame of being immoral anymore and is now taught to be a normal way of life in today's society. Add the problem of relaxed punishment for those who commit these crimes and the problem is now solely on mankind for abandoning God's laws who knows us better than we know ourselves. The simple answer to this problem is for The United States to go back to following and enforcing The Laws Of Moses written for mankind by our Creator, the God Yahweh.

It is something that for ~some~ people can become an addiction just like a number of other things. For others, they either watch it/view it as they please or they don't. I would say that most people who have viewed pornography are not sexual deviates nor are they sociopaths like Bundy was. There are many couples who enjoy it together as part of a healthy marriage.

So long as children aren't being exploited I find nothing wrong with pornography. It's like anything else, if you don't like it don't have anything to do with it.

Yeah right. The woman who gets mugged in the street for her purse - that is for sexual reasons.

What meds are you on these days? They need to adjust the dosage.

Pornography has been around for as long as art has. It is as moral or immoral as society want it to be.

Meanwhile what about these people?

So you have one example and I have four. Should I claim that all murders are religion based?

Ted made that revelation during the last month of his life. He also tried to tell them that there were more victims and he could lead investigators to them if they spared his life.

He was born out of wedlock. Ted was raised in his early years by his abusive alcoholic grandfather. Louise married Mr. Bundy, who was a fundie. His parents were very strict fundamentalists. No wonder he went crazy.

Ted also started out as a peeper and escalated.

I completely agree, although I don't think all cases turn out this extreme, there is no quesion that pornography slowly causes you to devalue the opposite sex and can be linked to crime in certain cases. The world would definitely be better off without porn.

So since one lunatic watches porn, that must mean that anyone who watches porn is a lunatic, right?

Notice how you only cite one person and exclude the fact that the millions of others who watch porn are not criminals.
