Whose to say it cant? Even for a shorter time longer than without science. Also "and old age pretty much proves heaven" LOL. I'm sorry I don't follow your logic. This proves it how?

Science cannot keep us alive forever because human cells can only divide a certain number of times and each new divided cell has that many less. Until science figures out a way to completely regenerate cells so that each new generation of cells ahs the same capacity to divide as the pervious generation we will not be able to live forever.

Why would you want to live forever? Think about it,when you hit middle age, like 50 or so, nobody wants to give you a job, you're too young for social security, your kids don't want to put you up as they have their own lives, the younger people want to take away your drivers license, your insurance rates go up, all of your joints start to hurt, and people like Rush Limbaugh call us names and because of medicare, claim we're trying to get something for nothing.
Add this to the sorry fact that the pharmaceutical companies make sure that all medications usually required for the older generation are priced beyond belief,and the government does nodthing to help.
I speak from experience, as I'm close to 80 and my hubby is going on 81.

science is not advanced enough yet to keep us alive forever and who would really want to?
in the days at the begging of the bible with no medicine or a good diet people died around 30 {is that}
now we are living into our 80's and some people who are healthy longer, so this kinda disproves your theory, because scientific research into medicine and diet is keeping us living longer

First off, it's spelled alive. Second, science can't keep us alive forever because oxygen, the gas we need in order to survive, is the most deadly gas in the atmosphere. It literally rots us away from the inside out.
