Just sit back and digest the immoral life they spout..

Nothing wrong with Pornography, Prostitution (Tell that to all the families of the women Ted Bundy killed with his Porn Addiction)
Nothing wrong with people who choose to engage in same sex activity and want to call it marraige and people who have babies out of wedlock
Nothing wrong with 12 yr olds taking birth control
Nothing wrong with people who don't want to take responsibility for there life let the Government take care of them will pay for it
No need to have religious symbols that represent the History of the Country or the holidays we celebrate
Nothing wrong with kids not having to obey and learn the ten Commandments let them be raised by parents who are not equipped will just put in more metal school detectors, build more dentention centers..

You don't have to live by GOD's laws but who are you to say we should change laws to reflect your lifestyle and beliefs?

1.There IS nothing wrong with pornography, prostitution, homosexuality or same sex marriage, as long as it's between consenting adults and no laws are broken (the last one is O.K. even if unconstitutional laws ARE broken). It's a free country. Bundy killed people (which is wrong) because he was a fruit loop, not because someone took pictures of naked people.
2. Nothing wrong with people having children whether they are married or not, as long as they aren't abusing them. I have two children, I'm not married, my children are happy, healthy, loving, perfect children with two good, moral parents who love them and don't abuse them. We're all fine without your god or his rules.
3. Taking birth control is good for anyone who doesn't want or shouldn't have children. Too bad some people are such krappy parents that their 12 year old is having sex. Of course, it's still better to have them on birth control than to be pregnant at twelve.
4. I agree with you on the government thing, but I don't see what people taking personal responsibility for their actions has to do with christianity. You guys just blame everything on the devil anyway. You never take responsibility for your own actions.
5. There IS no need to have religious symbols in public places or public schools. You want to have those in religious schools or at home. Go right ahead.
6. What does not coveting your neighbor's manservant, remembering Sunday, having no other gods, etc., have to do with metal detectors, or MORALITY, for that matter?

You're right, I DON'T have to live by your imaginary deity's rules, and I don't have to go to your imaginary hell if I don't. My lifestyle and beliefs include not harming other people, doing the right thing, being a good parent to my children, and teaching them to do the same. None of which requires a belief in your imaginary god OR tolerance for you and other ignorant, fearful people like you, making laws which force the rest of us to obey his commands like the rest of you slaves...

What do any of those things have to do with atheism ?

The most obvious error there being that somehow athiests are against the 10 commandments; atheists tend to support most of the commandments (ignoring the one about false idols and the one about taking the Lords name in vain); Its not like we go around killing or stealing because we call it common sense instead of Commandments... atheists just don't claim that a wrathful God will smite them or cast them into Hell for eternity if they don't follow these rules...

For the most part, I have never known many atheists to force their views onto others (there are exceptions in all things); he/she merely doesn't want others religious views forced onto him/her...

In some of those there is merely a discrepancy in the way of thinking; a Christian might be absolute and say no birth control should be given to 12 yr olds for example. someone else says, what they are doing is wrong, but having a bunch of 13 year olds with kids is going to be much worse, so while we won't condone the idea of 12 year olds having sex, we won't prevent those that are going to anyways from getting birth control. Both sides oppose it, but the Christians end up with a bunch of 13 year old Christians with children. How moral of them...

I also wasn't aware that part of Christianity was telling others to take responsibility for themselves and to refuse aid to those who need it. What Bible are you reading ?

Oh, wow! Where to begin....

Just where did you get the idea that atheists believe all those "nothing wrong" things you listed?

The one that really gets me is "nothing wrong with people who don't want to take responsibility for there (sic) life let the government take care of them will pay for it" (Way to use correct grammar!) Tell me...which people are those? Are you a Calvinist? Do you believe that if a person is successful and happy and lucky in life that's because God favors them? And, on the other hand, do you believe that if a person is not successful, unhappy and unlucky in life that's because God doesn't like them?

Those glasses are not working....they are still rose-colored.

"Tell that to all the families of the women Ted Bundy killed with his Porn Addiction"
Um, I think Ted Bundy had a heck of a lot more wrong with him than a porn addiction.

Everyone has their own definition of morality. Why do YOU get to choose what the end-all definition should be?

You are clearly quite prejudiced against Atheists.

And prejudice can be such an ugly thing.

It is ridiculous to believe that all Atheists (or even most of them) believe the things you ascribe to them.

Please ask more thoughtful questions.

You do know that you do not represent most of the Christians here?

Nice strawman. Try to construct a valid argument and learn something about your opposition next time.

How are atheists and pornography related? Do you ever think logically?

I'm not forcing my beliefs on you. Except maybe one.

Live and let live.

The only thing that I preach you should do is keep your simple-minded superstition out of my life.
