I swear by the Pantene shampoo & conditioner all-in-one. It cleans & conditions my hair well & leaves it soft & smelling really good. Pantene makes many types of shampoos for certain hair problems, as well as many other hair products. People can badmouth Pantene but I have great luck with it & it does not coat my hair. I also use the Pantene spray in/leave in conditioner & it's great.

I swear by Fekkai Glossing shampoo and conditioner it tames my curls and makes my hair glossy enough to straighten without any other products. You can buy it at Target, Sephora, or Victoria's Secret.
