Usually, whenever anyone outside my wifes family called me 'eniste', in meant that they wanted something from me.
I'm NOT trying to be disrespectful... that's the way it always came out. People I never knew... then it was usually followed by, "Can you get me a...".

eniste is one word that i like alot;-))
specially when we have a foreign damat;-)
When there is a foreign damat the Turkish girl becomes the daughter of whole Turkey and the guy becomes either damat or eniste of whole Turkey;-))
Turkish people are so fun with this:-)
