Has anyone ever tryed using it? I know it comes in pills and just the oil. Some people said it helps their joints. That is what I mainly want it for. My joints have been getting really bad and hurting lately. Does anyone also know the benefits of using it?

Hi Jonothan

I have heard of Udo's Oil, and although I'm not an expert in this area i belive it's high in Omega 3's, the active constituent in fish oils. These oils that come from oily fish such as herring, mackerel, tuna, salmon, sardines and pilchards provide some protection against arthritis, high cholesterol, high blood pressure and possibly Alzheimers and Parkinson's disease. We should all eat at least 3 portions of oily fish per week, but because we don't supplements that are high in Omega 3's will help to give us some protection. I don't know off the top of my head the constituents of Udo's oil but you should aim to take any supplement that provides you with 600mgm of EPA (the most important Omega 3) each day. I could tell you a lot more about these vital omega 3's but i don't have the time nor does Yahoo provide us with enough space!

yes this is great quality stuff - the omega 3 and 6 in this oil come from non fish origin. This is a quality product and you can find cheaper Omega oils from a fish source only.

You are on the right track - I advise you to go to a health food store and ask what you should be doing for better joint health, udo's oil isnt specifically for joint health. good old fashioned cod liver oil would be better for you for this purpose and waay cheaper.

I include a good informative link below - please read.

Sorry to hear you have this. I live in the Caribbean and the heat helps joints - the cold weather is no good as I'm sure you know. take care of yourself.

Yes, it's great. Some pain might be an imbalance of Omeg-6 (too much) and omega-3 (we get too little). Also, glucosamine and chondroitin will help repair the joint. I take curcumin (pills) and it really helps reduce the inflammation.

I don't know what is Udo oil, though it sounds Nigerian. My advice: get off your couch and go for morning walks..at least for half an hour. Get a good pair of joggers and nice looking trunks to make you feel nice and elated. Walk. DO NOT jog or run. Bad for your knees. Forget the oils and balms. Massaging is bad for your knees in particular. Good luck!

After looking on www@webmd.com, I learned of it. If you care to, call: 1.877.304.8615 (US. & Canada) or (International) 1.508.393.8481. Service@musclesurf.com website sells the product, and the numbers I provided come from them. They should have the information you need. Good luck!
