She probably isn't, but since cat's can get pregnant while they're already pregnant, it's not impossible. You really should have a checked by a vet - if she was mated two weeks ago they may just about be able to tell by now, that would be about a quarter way through her term. She really should be checked because cats don't really leak blood during their seasons - a tiny bit of discharge, but not really blood, there could be a problem there.
If she's not pregnant, PLEASE get her spayed. If she is pregnant, PLEASE get her spayed once the kittens are weaned. It's essential in the current climate; there are just too many cats in shelters that need homes, there's really no place for more kittens to be brought in to the world to take up these places at the moment. It will also help your cat by preventing her from getting pyometra as well as mammary, ovarian and cervical cancer when older.
It's not a 'period' by the way. Periods are what human females have at the end of their cycles, when the unfertilised egg is being flushed out of the womb. Cats and dogs have 'seasons' - they bleed a little and come in to heat WHILE they're ovulating. Cats are also induced ovulators (the act of mating causes an egg to be released) - so they do not even need to be in heat to get pregnant.

No there's no hazard to the mother's lifestyles due to her brother being the daddy. The whole thing you must be aware of you can be taught from your vet. As well, you could nonetheless get her spayed and then you definitely would not have got to worry a few pregnant cat or kitten, but that is up to you. I'd get her to the vet for a examine up and ask at the same time you are there about taking good care of her at the same time she's pregnant and elevating the kittens.

Cats do not usually show signs of bleeding during their estrus cycle ( very different for dogs). You might want to have the vet take a look at this, perhaps a vaginal infection or urinary tract infection.

It might have been a "spontaneous abortion," or stillbirth or whatever you call it.
Also, the blood might be the remains of that. (The other answers seem to think that cats dont have periods, and I guess thats true.)

Fix your cat and you won't have to worry about it. If she is pregnant find them homes, make sure those kittens get fixed, and DON'T just drop them off at a shelter.
