In yoga philosophy and practice it is said that our bodies become more open so that we can be more in tune with God and the hum of the Universe which is Om (or Aum). Have you felt this in your life even if it isn't a yoga practice?

Lord V: I'm an opera singer so I'd have to sing something from "La Traviata". You OK with that, big boy?

Hi Shawn: yes, I do. It lovely. I also do the chant before Ashtanga practice, it's a lot to spell here. See, I got people riled up about basic philosophy about yoga. I guess I should have written a thesis. Geez.

At least THEY don't tell you which god you're supposed to hook up with.
After doing yoga, I'm more in tune with myself. There are some who believe that there is no external god - that it's something that is just part of us - so if that were true then my answer is yes.
Yoga is good no matter how you slice it.

several religious philosophies hold the attainment of a physical body as key to understanding this life, this lesson, and God. And that all things have a living spirit which upon 'death' returns to the source - that would require being attuned for some form of 'communication' between life forces.

For me, vibrations from a deeply pitched singing bowl can be extremely stimulating spiritually and otherwise. The hum of Om gets into your bones, especially your spinal column and it can feel ecstatic, leaving you feeling yoked with the One.

Yes. The gate is within. I pass through it everytime I go on a self-induced shamanic journey. I've also gone using an entheogenic tool.

i think that only a soul is able to find God and our bodies just get older and the soul have no limits, i have also read that our bodies are not prepared to do Yoga the unique thing we do is to harm it..

I think of my body as a tool to be used BY God - not as a tool to find Him. I agree, though, that getting your mind and body free of outside interference can make prayer/meditation more meaningful.

These are basic yoga not the Alti yoga or tantra yoga. Because ALTI YOGA WILL NOT HAVE GOD or Tantra yoga will not have god. (You are God).
